Maudie Franks shivered with fear as she looked around the dormitory. Inside was seven girls who looked like giants compared to her.
One of the giants came up to her with a sneer on its face. "Who is this mouse then?" it said.
"I-I'm Maudie." Maudie said, shaking.
"Leave her be, Suzie. She's just new." said a girl with a doll-like face.
"Shove off, Katy." sneered the girl next to Maudie. "I can do what I want to these weedy little new girls."
"Stop it, Suzie. You know Miss Parker made me head of the first form. You have to listen to me. You can't bully this girl." said Katy, coming up to the girl and pushing her away. "Don't worry. We'll look after you and look out for you. Suzie is just a big bully."
Katy led Maudie away. "Don't worry Maudie. I wouldn't be surprised if Suzie is sent away from the school. The first form is actually the best form EVER!" Katy said, smiling big.
