Caspar had managed to drag Joe to yet another party. This time, it was a house party.

Joe hated house parties.

But here he was, 11:30pm on a Friday night at a complete strangers house. Caspar was no where to be seen, so Joe was all by himself. Joe had also made the stupid decision of letting Caspar be his ride home. He stood up from the couch and decided to go find Caspar. He just wanted to get out of here and one way or another, he was going to leave. Even if that meant leaving Caspar behind.

There were people everywhere. The room was so crowded that Joe actually felt claustrophobic. Music pounded through his ears as girls and guys danced around him. He pushed his way through the mob of people and eventually found himself in a different room.

Was it a different room?

Joe couldn't even tell. He could barely even see what was in front of him let alone tell what room he was in. There were too many people blocking his view.

He was never going to find Caspar!

Without Caspar, Joe had no hope of getting home. He hadn't even thought to bring his phone either so there was no way of contacting anyone.

If he couldn't go home, he at least wanted to take a break from the noise and the crowds. He needed to find the bathroom.

After squeezing through more people, he realised there was no chance he was going to find the bathroom in an unfamiliar house.

There must be over 200 people at this party! This is why Joe hated house parties. Everyone always seemed to be crammed into the one space and he always found himself struggling for room.

Joe decided to ask someone for help. He quickly scanned his surroundings for someone that didn't look too drunk or too caught up in dancing. His eyes fell onto a girl with long blonde hair. She was facing away from Joe but she was very noticeable because of her red plaid flannel and thigh high black boots. She was talking to someone else and her and her friend were the only two not dancing.

She seemed harmless so Joe went up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and raised her eyebrows, giving him a look of disapproval.

Maybe she wasn't the right person to ask after all.

"Do you know where the bathroom is?" Joe shouted, trying his best to be heard over the music.

The girl's face twisted into a confused expression.

"What?" She shouted in reply.

Joe repeated himself but this time he tried to yell even louder.

"Where's the bathroom?!"

The girl suddenly smiled and said something in response but Joe hadn't heard her. The next thing he knew, the girl had grabbed his wrist and was leading him through the crowd.

Had she gotten the wrong idea?
