After you got your breathing in control, and what a difficult task that was, you slowly stood up from the toilet lid and took a deep breath. Smoothing your hair back and tugging on it lightly, you think over what just happened. My neighbor just went crazy and tried to kill me.
"Okay, are you better now? Can you come out for us?"The softer tone told you it was the nicer man, the concerned one. You imagine him to be a taller male with brunette hair who wasn't a mean person, but get on his bad side and you would surely regret it.
Oh right, dang the police are here. I guess I should show my thanks. The creaking of the door brought shivers up your skin and you automatically got flashed back to your neighbor's boney hands scraping against your window, which was for sure broken.
Raising your shaking hand you swipe at your face feeling something wet. Your face wasn't damp, but there was trails leading down your face. Red. The stuff on your face was red.
A heart wrenching scream crawled its way out from your neck and you couldn't seem to stop it from escaping.
"Restrain him or he's going to hurt somebody!" The softer one yells out and that's when you realize they were coming for you. There was too many and they were all coming for you. There was no way you could protect yourself.
Rushing over to the tallest male, you sidestep his arms, and hide behind him sinking down lower and lower. The sobs were coming out more frequently like they had a mind of their own and your chest rose and fell with every heavy breath you took.
The whole room seemed to freeze when the tall male sank to his knees and cautiously wrapped you in a small, loose hug.
"It's alright, they are dead and they won't bother you ever again. I promise." He said in his low gravelly voice. You recognize him as the first police man that tried to get you out of the bathroom, it was comforting and you end up hugging him tighter as you sob into his chest.
He awkwardly rubs his big, rough hands up your fragile back while the rest of the police officers stood around you both, eyes wide in shock as if this friendly giant wasn't so friendly all the time. However the only thing that really matters is what's happening now and right now he seemed almost angel like.
"Okay, let's stand up. This is killing my knees." He says as he wraps his arms around you tighter, almost as if he never wanted to let go. Slowly standing up still cuddling into his chest for comfort, you wearily look around the room at the others.
" Alright," says the sweet sounding one with blonde hair, " let's get going. Sheriff's going to want to know what the heck went on around here. Let's bring him too, he seems too shaken to be by himself."
The comfortable chest, resting against your cheek, rose up and down in a steady pace. He has a broad chest with obvious hard muscles, which you would have normally found incredibly attractive, but in the current position you are in, you really don't think it was an important time to think something like that.
"My car?" You feel the deep, rough rumbles through his chest and you slowly find your eyes closing as you rest slightly. Today has been too long. I wonder what mom and dad are up to and if they saw what happened on the news if they would make you move back to Montana.
