Move In Day

Becca's P.O.V.

Today was the day. Adam and I were finally college students. We got up and in the car. My mom was a crying mess and Coach Bombay was just as bad. Charlie and I were trying not to cry but I knew we would eventually.

"Take care of my sis Banks or else I'll kick your ass." Charlie said.

"I'll take care of her Charlie don't worry." Adam said.

"I'm gonna miss you man."

"I'm gonna miss you too!" They gave each other a bro hug.

We waved everyone goodbye and drove on to Chicago.

When we arrived, the campus was empty except for the other athletes who were moving in.

"Adam, what residence hall are we in?" I asked.

"Um I think it's Stanley Hall." Adam replied.

We parked and unpacked and let me tell you, it was a struggle. I met my roommate. Her name was Tai Smith. She got a dance scholarship and she's from New Jersey. She's the sweetest thing. I know we'll get along just great!

"Do you like hockey?" I asked Tai.

"I love hockey I wish I played it in Jersey wait you're Becca Conway from the Mighty Ducks! I didn't know you got a scholarship here!" Tai replied.

"Yeah that's me and I'm surprised you know who I am. I was 12 when I was in the Junior Goodwill Games."

"Quick question: *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys?" She asked as she held 2 posters.

"Definitely *NSYNC!"

"Okay we're totally gonna get along!"

After I was done unpacking, I helped Adam unpack.

"Babe? Do you know who your roommate is?" I asked.

"Honestly I have no idea. All I know is that he's on the hockey team too. Oh speaking of that we have our first practice tomorrow morning." He replied as he set up his desk.

"Shit Brittany and I were gonna get breakfast."

"You're really hitting it off with her aren't you?" He chuckled.

"Yeah she's great! We have the same taste in music and fashion and she's a dancer just like I was."

"Maybe you can show me one of your dance moves." He smirked.

"Not right now lover boy." I said as I gave him a kiss which as usual turned into a make out session.

"Ooo I came in at the right time." We heard a voice say. I turned around to see the person I've been dreading to see.

"McGill what the hell do you want?!" Adam yelled.

"Didn't you know? I'm your roommate. Surprise bitch. I bet you thought you'd see the last of me."
