Playing Catch Up

Becca's P.O.V.

After we all went to the mall, we all decided to have one of our famous lake parties and get drunk off our asses catching up with one another. I decided to hang out with the girls before the party while Adam caught up with the guys.

"So Connie how are you and Guy?" I asked as I wiggled my eyebrows. Julie giggled and lightly nudged Connie.

"We're doing pretty good. College is so hard though. All my classes are for nursing school and it's almost impossible to balance that, hockey and Guy at the same time." She said with a huff.

"No I agree with you Connie. I never thought college would be this hard. Julie how's college for you?" I replied.

"Well I have all A's. Dean and I are kinda taking a break from each other." Connie and I spit out our water.

"Woah what?!" We both said in unison.

"Yeah it's so hard to balance a relationship and school and a hockey scholarship so we're both just putting the relationship on hold so we can find balance then get back together." We both nodded in agreement.

"Enough about us what's going on with my favorite couple?" Connie asked while Julie rested her hands on her chin as I laughed to myself at their peak of interest.

"Well Adam and I are great actually. We've had some bumps in the road but we're great now." I told them about Adam joining a fraternity an they were shocked. We talked for about 2 hours before we had to go get ready for the party tonight.

*Skip to party*

"No I distinctly remember you having that 5th shot of tequila and then getting on the table and start stripping." Adam said to Charlie. We all were sitting around the bonfire talking about our memories of us in high school.

"I don't remember any of this happening." Charlie said as he drank his 3rd cup of "Duck Sauce". It's a mix of Hawaiian Punch and Everclear. I've gotten fucked up plenty of times on that drink by itself.

"Unfortunately I remember that. It scared me for life." I said while cringing. Adam wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead.

"At least I didn't drink 10 shots of vodka and end up puking at homecoming junior year." Goldberg said looking at Dwayne.

"Y'all that was Kenny."

"Was not! It was Russ!"

"I don't remember that."

"Exactly our point!" Averman said causing all of us to laugh.

"Adam how's the frat?" Guy asked.

"Yeah man how are the babes over there?" Luis added while wiggling his eyebrows.

"Funny Luis and honestly it's tiring but it's totally worth it."

"Enough talk let's get fucked up!" Dean said while raising his glass.

"No matter where we go we will always have each other! To the Ducks!" Charlie said as we all raised our glasses and drank the rest of what was in our cups.

By the 4th time refilling my cup, I was completely drunk off my ass. I was dancing like an idiot when I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist.

"I'm surprised that Becca Conway is drunk on 4 cups." I was shocked that it wasn't Adam.

"TAI?! OH MY GOD WHAT THE HELLS ARE YA DOIN HERE?" I asked as I stumbled into her her arms.

"Banks and I wanted to surprise you dear! I've always wanted to meet the legendary Mighty Ducks."

"Did I surprise you baby girl?" Adam asked.

"Hell yeah you did! I love you so much!" I said as I kissed him.

"Dude who's this hot chick?" Luis asked with a smirk.

"Touch her and I'll kill you! This is my roommate Tai Smith."

Everyone crowded around us and hugged Tai. Tai laughed and started flirting with Luis.

"You having fun baby girl?' Adam asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my temple. We swayed back and forth to the music.

"I'm having a fantastic time. I missed these guys."

"I have missed these guys too. But, daddy's missed his baby girl too." He lightly kissed my neck on my weak spot.

"Let's go then." I said with a smirk. I took his hand and stumbled over to the gang.

"Adam and I will be right back." I slurred.

"Use protection you two!" Connie yelled.

"Don't get my sister pregnant!" Charlie yelled.

"Shut up Char!" I said as Adam picked me up bridal style and walked us back to his house.
