Chapter 9
I whispered to Hook I'd be back and then ran to catch up to Regina. I settled into stride beside her as we began to talk.
"Regina, why was the scarecrow so afraid of you?" I asked. She looked at me and stated.
"We had a little mishap years ago. He wanted a brain, I wanted a certain someone dead. He didn't kill the person, I ripped out his straw since he had no heart and left him there. I have no Idea how he got put back together or got a brain but that's all in the past, I've changed now." She said a little distantly. I looked at her a little shocked.
"You have changed, your not a dark person any more. We all know that, Henry knows that." I said because she didn't sound convinced herself that she was good.
"Henry doesn't remember me, or any of our time together."
"But when we find him, we'll help him remember. Regina he loves you, your his mom too. Even if he doesn't remember now." I said trying to make her feel better while also convincing myself that we would find him and help him remember.
"Thanks. I'm glad he has you." She said before she walked ahead and started talking to Snow. I slid back to beside Hook and grabbed his hand, it was almost night but we kept walking.
