I was currently sitting down at my vanity, doing my makeup while jammin' out to Queen B.

Today is Valentine's Day so I have a date later with my boyfriend,Dak. We have been dating for 11 months now but feels like forever. We met at a Kanye West concert in New Orleans, Louisiana. After a few dates he asked me to be his girlfriend, how could I not say yes? I mean he's the full package. He's good looking, plays football, has great taste in music, smart, funny, sweet; I had to say yes.

I was finishing putting my lipstick on when I got a phone call from Dak. I picked up the phone and clicked 'answer', upon hearing his voice brought a smile to my face.

"Hey baby"

"Hey, what's up?"

"Nothing, just calling you to tell you that I'm almost there, I'm a street away to be exact"

"Ok, I'll see you when you get here"

"Alright, bye baby girl"

I clicked on the 'end call' button and walked over to my closet and got my black heels to match with my dark green dress.

I walked over to the mirror and checked my outfit and makeup before  I heard a knock on the front door. I walked out of my bedroom and downstairs to the front door. I opened it and saw Dak standing there  wearing a black shirt with olive green jeans.

"Wow, you look gorgeous baby girl"

"Thank you babe"
I walked towards him to give him a hug but he stopped me.

"Wait, these are for you. Happy Valentine's Day My Princess. I love you"
He reached over to his right, and picked up the gifts from the bench. He gave me a bouquet of flowers, a heart shaped box filled with chocolates, a Cowboys teddy bear and a pink gift bag with red and white wrapping paper inside of it.

"Awe, you're so sweet. Thank you Baby, i love you too."
I leaned up and gave him a peck on the lips. I then walked to my room, with Dak following behind me, I put down the gifts.

"You ready Em?"

"Yes, just let me get my purse"
I waked to my closet and grabbed my black purse.

"Ok, now I'm ready"

"Alright,let's go"
Dak grabbed my hand and lead me downstairs, out the house and into his truck.

"So, I'm thinking Nobu?"
Dak looked over to me with his eyebrows raised waiting for a response.

"Yes please, I've been craving sushi for the longest"

"Nobu it is"
He started his truck and drove towards the restaurant.

"I'm so full, I can barely move"
I sat back in my chair and held onto my stomach. A nap would be really nice right now.

"I told you eating all that sushi was going to be bad for you"
He chuckled as the waiter brought the check.

"I was hungry, leave me alone"
He laughed and took out his wallet, taking out money to pay for the meal. He then stood up and put his hand out for me.

"Come on, I want to take you somewhere"
I gave him my hand and he led me outside to his truck.

"Where are we going ?"

"You'll see"
He started his truck as he gave me a wink. This boy kills me.

Dak parked his truck and got
Out, he came over to my side and opened the door.

"Come on babe"
I got down and took in my surroundings. We were at a park along with a few other people.

Dak lead me to a bridge that was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights.

"It's beautiful"
The sight was really breathtaking.

"Not as beautiful as you"

"That was really cheesy"
We both busted out laughing at his cheesiness.

"No but really babe, I'm glad I got to spend valentines with you. You make it really special, I love you Emily"
He cupped my cheeks with his hands and gave me a passionate kiss.

I pulled away and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I love you too Dak"

I'm so sorry I'm late with the updates guys, there is a lot going in my life right now and it's hard to update but I will try to update every chance that I get so please be patient with me.
I will be posting a Zeke imagine tomorrow/ today (14th of Feb) so be on the lookout for that ;).
Oh and also I'm thinking about doing a Q&A for you guys, so y'all can get to know me ! So please let me know what you think about it!
