Siva.

You pulled your hair up into a bun letting a few small curls loose around your face giving it that look like “My hair looks amazing, but it only took 5minutes.” Look even though it had took you over an hour to make it look perfect. You kept your make up simple, a small amount of foundation, mascara with a touch or red lippy. You didn’t want to over do things. You had a black dress that clung to your body giving it that perfect shape. You match your red lippy with your red heels. Siva had told you not to go to much bother but it was the first date you had ever been on you wanted to look your best. You heard the sound a car horn outside and made your way out to a taxi that was waiting. You got in and obviously Siva had told the driver exactly where to go. The driver pulled up to a house. “Is this it?” You asked the driver he nodded you handed him over a £20 note not bothering about waiting on the change, you hopped out and made your way up to the door. You got butterflies in your stomach as you raised your hand to press the door bell. You managed to take a few deep breathes before you were greeted by Siva. He was wore black trousers with a white shirt. Nothing to special but he looked hot. He grinned at you as he showed you in. “You look beautiful.” He smiled as he gave you a kiss on your cheek. He showed you through to the dining room which he had set up like it was your own private restaurant. The room light was dimmed the main light being from the candles that he had placed around the room. Two red candles placed on the middle of the table along with a bottle of wine. Siva showed you over pouring you a glass of wine. “I know you said you didn’t drunk that much but I thought special occasion?” He smiled taking a sip out of his own glass.

The night went well. The conversation flowed by with no awkward moments. You both lost track of time and before you knew it it was 11pm. Your phoned buzzed in your pocket for the first time of the night. You excused yourself from the table saying you needed the bathroom. Siva pointed to the door just across from the room you were in. You made your way over shutting the door and taking your phone from your pocket only to see your flat mates name appear. You opened the text to see they were worried about you due to the time. You smiled to yourself knowing how well your first date had gone. “I’m so sorry Siva but its pretty late do you mind if I head home?” You asked he smiled at you. “Not at all I’ll phone you a taxi.” He nodded as he took his phone from his back pocket.

You heard the sound of a car horn outside the house. You frowned not wanting to leave the company of Siva. “I will text you tomorrow?” He asked you nodded opening the door ready to leave. You both looked into each others eyes for a moment before Siva leaned closer to you letting your lips meet and giving you a gentle peck on the lips. You got into the Taxi smiling from cheek to cheek. You had never been happier.

Max.

Max had told you he hated the standard date. The romantic meals, trip to the movie’s the things every guy does. He said he wanted to do something different which left your mind wondering. It had finally come to the day of the date and he had text you telling you to stick to casual wear. You didn’t want to look like a scruff. You curled your hair, before putting on a small amount of make up. You hardly ever wore a lot unless it was a night out. You pulled on a pair of skinny jeans, and a white vest top. Keeping things simple you went with just converse and a leather jacket. He did say casual after all? He turned up outside you house smiling. “You ready?” He grinned back at you you nodded as you took his hand and followed him.

“The zoo?” You let out a giggle as you realised where you were. “Yeah well you said you liked animals so I thought why not?” He grinned back at you. You could already tell you were in for one hell of a day.

Max pulled you into the reptile house. He had mentioned he was into snakes and lizards and he knew you had a phobia so he was playing a game. “I really dislike you right now.” You laughed as Max tapped the glass. “No you don’t… You will in a minute.” He grinned back at you pulling you along. You looked up to see a man stood with a snake wrapped around his neck and hanging down his body. “Are we allowed pictures?” Max asked the man nodded handing the snake over to Max telling him to be careful. He obviously wanted to look like a hard man. He grinned at me pulling me close to him and wrapping it around me just like it was on the man. “Max this is not even funny get it off me.” You screeched trying not to cause attention to yourself while trying to stay calm as possible because well you had a massive snake that could probably kill you if it wanted to wrapped around you neck. Max quickly snapped a picture on his phone before letting the man take the snake from you. “Now you have an amazing picture to remember our amazing first date.” He chuckled as he took your hand feeling you shake. “Were you really that’s scared?” He asked you shocked you looked at him with a serious face. “Yes!” You said letting yourself giggle and realise you just concurred one of your worst fears.
