We walked around the hallway proudly, looks of disgust still bouncing from the walls.
but we did not care, we were happy
it was the last day of school, i realized time went by that fast.
I graduated with a 4.0 and she following by with a 3.9.
Me walking up on the stage, made me feel truly happy
i saw my parents in the crowd, clapping for me.
My sister and brother screamed and giggled for me
the teachers and students shared a short, 'good job' with me and left.
With my graduation paper in hand i cried my heart out back stage
They smiled back
stronger than i ever smiled before
so my job was done
i could stop smiling for a while
i deserved it.
