Chapter 1

I was walking home after going to my friend Elena's house. It was currently 11:45 PM, but I wasn't scared because nothing bad ever happens in this neighborhood. I was walking home because Elena lives right around the corner of my street. The weird thing about tonight was that the street was eerily quiet and lonely. I started to fasten my pace since I was about to get to the door. Suddenly, my phone rang. Ugh whoever it is they fucking made me shit my jeans.

"Hello?" I answered sounding annoyed. "Where are you?" Phew, it was just my mom. "I'm right outside the door now okay? Calm down," I answered. "You better." She said. I swear my mom is something.

I got my keys out of my pocket but then this breeze came out of nowhere and I accidentally dropped them. I crouched down to get them and when I came back up, I was met with a pair of mesmerizing dark brown eyes. Startled, I instinctively jumped back.

"You fucking scared me dude," I told the surprisingly hot guy. "You shouldn't be out so late babe," He replied. "Yeah well you shouldn't be in other people's property" I sassily answered back. He just chuckled. "What's so funny?" I asked. "Nothing, you're feisty, I like that about you." I raised my eyebrow in question. "Well okay then weirdo. Good-bye I need to go home and you're in my way so....." I trailed off. He smirked at me but made no sign that he would move. I'll have to do this the hard way.

I tried to walk past him but he grabbed me by the waist and pinned me to the ground. I shrieked and tried to push him off but it was useless. He pinned both of my wrists over my head with one of his hands and with the other grabbed my hip so I wouldn't move. I started squirming around but I just got so frustrated and started screaming. "Shut up or I'll make you," He said. I yelled even louder. He looked me in the eyes and said "Stop screaming,". Out of nowhere I just randomly shut up. What the hell? "Listen to me, you will be seeing me and the rest of my friends watching over you and eventually, one day, you'll come with us. Be careful babe," He said that, kissed my cheek, and left as if he was never here.

The door to my house opened and I was just so fucking scared. It was my mom and she started yelling at me to get in and blah, blah, blah. I'm just so shocked. I went up to my room, changed into my pijamas, and got in bed. I could see through the dim light of the moon a dark figure pass right in front of the house. I'm not going out late ever again.
