It's been a week since the incident with the guy that attacked me. I haven't gone out since because I'm scared he'll come looking for me. I even tried convincing my mom we should move but she just told me I was tired and should get some rest. How can I get rest when that creep could be watching me? I've only gone out to go to school but I come directly back home. Elena has been telling me to go places with her and has been calling me non-stop. I always reject her calls though.

I heard the doorbell ring and my mom must've opened it because I heard people talking and some shuffling.

"Melissa, come downstairs. It's Elena," My mom hollered.

"Coming," I answered back.

I went downstairs in my pj's because I was too lazy to change and it's already kind of late anyway. I reached the last step and Elena attacked me in a bear hug.

"Why haven't you answered my calls?" Was the first thing she said to me.

"Hello to you too. I haven't answered because I didn't feel like it, okay?" She gave me a look meaning she didn't believe me at all.

"You better get your ass in the shower because we're going out," She said while pushing me upstairs into my room. I groaned but complied because this was bound to happen anyway. I had to go outside someday, so why not? I actually felt like I wanted to have fun.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"A party at Ryan's place," She simply replied.

I nodded and got in the shower. I didn't talk much to Ryan but we still saw each other at school. I stripped out of my clothes and took a warm shower quickly getting out. I changed into a cute black, strapless dress. It went up to my thighs so it was a little short but, who cares? I quickly applied make-up and did my hair. I heard a honk and looked out through the window. Elena was already in her car ready to leave. I ran downstairs trying not to fall and went out to the driveway.

"Ready?"

"I guess," But I so wasn't ready for what was about to happen at the party.
