Summer comes and goes.
You run
And you shall be followed
But if you are lost remember,
I was there to begin with.
The leaves will again crumple to the ground
For life and death were promised
You do know everything ends
Then how can we not?
And so our fate is sealed
In that little leaf that too will fall
We were naïve, we were in love
Didn’t we even share the same heartbeat?
When the gentle winter wind will touch your face
You will know it is time to leave.
For even the spring with all its brilliance thought
She would last forever.
When we leave I need you to know
I leave all my dreams in your heart
Return to me when you shall
For summer comes and goes.
