Sonnets of insignia

Black is so enticingly raw

Its echo’s oblivion to my soul

It has no hopes any pain just overwhelming barrenness

Poignant memories which now encase me

In its sinful confinement

Whose shackles I never want to be liberated from..

White is unbearably perfect

Anew and breathtaking

Where every masquerade is a façade

An outline that is in itself so seamless

Unblemished and thrifty

Sucks every other color out of my life

But wasn’t it yours to aver?

Red it is so mercilessly appealing

It is hurt but it is love

It slaughters my desires

That once danced to life in your arms

And red is that revolt of my heart

Which unashamedly refuses to forget you…?

Will I ever move on…?
