The Abyss

     As Jen stared into the vast blackness of the Abyss, she looked at the sun and realized she was late with her meeting with Max. The dark days started seven hundred twenty four years to the date. Well into the dark days, everyone knew how to do things they were not able to do before. People could now tell the time just by looking at the sun.

     There were also different kinds of people. The evens were just normal people , nothing really special about them. The odds were strange people. Hated by all of the evens, the odds had special powers that were in the three fields of power. The mind field allowed odds to manipulate the physical world or the minds of others. The body field allowed the manipulation of one's body to enhance strength, hight, and size. The element field allowed the manipulation of the elements such as fire or water.

     Jen picked up a rock and chucked the stone towards one of the rocky spires. The stone smashed into the spire. Jen turned towards the town as the spire crumpled and fell into the Abyss and disappeared into the blackness without a sound.
