As Jen walked towards the diner, the shadow of the Great Pyramids were falling on the town. Jen walked towards the diner to find Max sitting outside in his torn jeans and Autobots graphic tee he found buried in the sand. He was making the cloudy and dusty glass salt shaker levitate. "Max! What are you doing! You know that were not supposed to use our powers in public! It's against the law!" Jen screamed loudly for everyone to hear.
At this, everyone around stopped and looked at Max. "Screw the law. What does it matter. Every odd they kill the worse the community becomes," Max replied calmly. Max knew this angered Jen when he was chill and she was angry with him. Jens skin began to burn as bones pierced her skin and her arms looked as if giant white stalagmites were coming out of her body. Everyone looked disgusted as if Jen was a snake slithering through their homes. The police had already gotten there and were keeping their distance, as if Jen was a lion about to eat their faces. Jen managed to calm herself enough to return to normal.
The cops surrounded Jen and Max, ready to beat them if they tried anything. Max stepped forward raised is arms and his eyes turned gold. Everything from tables to chairs and the salt shaker he was messing with flew at the cops.
Max grabbed Jens arms and ran into an alley. "Shrink!" Max yelled quietly. Jen did as she was told and Max picked her up and put her in his pocket and turned invisible. Max sneaked through the alley and into the safe house.
