Kongpob and Arthit arrived at the apartment building. They needed to use elevator to reach their room on the 7th floor.
While they were about to ride the elevator, Arthit caught a view of his husband who was busy looking for something in his sling bag. But Arthit didn't say anything. His husband, Kongpob, sometimes he did some strange thing. You know, he did something like being nervous and he seemed to suffer from a little bit obsessive compulsive disorder.
"P'Arthit," Kongpob turned his face toward Arthit. "My keys..."
"Your keys?" Arthit asked back. "Your keys is on me."
Arthit groped into his handbag and took a group of keys with a "K" chains. "This is yours." He gave it to Kongpob and then sunk his hand back into the bag, looking for something.
"Mine is gone." He said.
Kongpob's eyebrows rose. "It might be in the duffle."
"Do you think I am that reckless to put it in our travel bag?"
Kongpob pulled out his hand, taking Arthit's. "Let's get into the elevator first, okay?"
Arthit looked worried. He seemed to try recalling about the keys. His hand were still in Kongpob's grip.
"We can unlock the door with my keys." Kongpob tried to cool Arthit off. "Once we arrive, we will check our belongings together. We will surely find it as long as you haven't thrown it somewhere else."
"You know, I always put my keys in that side of my bag."
"I know."
"Now, it's gone."
"I don't think so. It must be tucked in one place or another." Kongpob stroked the back of Arthit's hand softly.
They got out from the elevator and went straight to their apartment. Arthit's face was still gloomy. Kongpob wanted to say that it was just keys. They could make it again if it was really lost. Kongpob knew that he couldn't say it, more than anything in this whole world. Once Arthit said it was important, then it was important.
Kongpob unlocked the door. Before he opened it, he took Arthit's hand that he had left behind moments ago and kissed it. "We will find your keys, I promise."
Kongpob opened the door like usual, and...
"Aw, you've arrived!"
That was Bright.
Kongpob was surprised, but Arthit was more than that. He freezed. He was amazed and confused, and HOW COULD BRIGHT ENTER THEIR ROOM?
"NO WAY!" Arthit shouted. He understood what happened with his keys now. "BRI-"
Arthit stopped shouting when he realized that their room was full of their closest friends and decoration. His eyes widened. He turned his face to Kongpob, but Kongpob showed him the pleasant expression. That guy knew everything already, from the start.
"This is cheating, Kongpob." He said.
There was an evilly grin on Kongpob's face. "I did nothing bad, P'Arthit."
"You gave him my keys!"
"That was wrong answer!" Bright cut him off. "I took it myself from your bag when you were about to go to the rest room, before you departed to New York."
Arthit shook his head, couldn't believe what had happened in his life. His friend was crazier than he always thought.
"He saw me," Bright pointed at Kongpob, making Arthit glared at his husband immediately. "When I told him the plan, he let me go."
