The title of this thing is going to be WHAT I THINK ABOUT SHIPPING. This story, or book, or whatever you wanna call it, is going to be just that. So here we go.
I am currently shipping and being shipped. Shipping other people is fun, especially if they're your friends and/or you can annoy them about it. I think it's all in good fun, unless you are being really perverted and nosy about it.
Now from the other side. Being shipped with the person you like is THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FEELING EVER. You have succeeded at making OTHER people think the relationship between you and the person you have a crush on would work. IT'S A VICTORY REALLY. But if you don't like them? Completely different story. Here are a few relationships you can have with people ur being shipped with:
1) you hate them. That would SUCKSUCKSUCK. I'm sorry for you. All I would do is make sure the other person shipping you two knows you hate them. Then show it in front of them. And make a really exaggerated point of it.
2) they're your friend. (not really close). This is the case with the 3/5 the people I am being shipped with. It sucks because the people shipping you don't understand that you don't like them just because they're your friend and you say hi to them in the hallway. I know, it sucks, but no matter how much you try to convince them, it just won't work, ok? Just ignore it, and try to refrain from ripping every single hair out of their head.
3) they're your friend (closer). This kind of sucks, and its the case for two of mine, but you just really got to keep ignoring it and moving on. Just listen, and then shun, if you want.
4) you're friendzoning them. Aka you think they like you but you dont like them back but other people are still shipping you. I'm pretty sure this is the case for one of mine. I'm not 100% sure he likes me, but i think he does, so. Anyways, i would just keep on friendzoning them, over and over. Yep. That's pretty much it.
5) they're like ur brother/sister (aka REALLY CLOSE friend). This REALLY sucks because you could NEVER imagine going out with them ever and you are really close friends but ur too close to even CONSIDER taking a turn to the romance side of things. That really sucks, and I would definitely tell them about it, because chances are, they'll feel the same way. If they don't, you can't sue me, because I never claimed i was a professional.
Those were the five types of relationships u can have with people when ur being shipped with them. And a little advice on how to deal with it. If i had to say one overall blanket thing, it would be to NOT TO LET THE SHIP RUIN THE RELATIONSHIP U ALREADY HAVE WITH THAT PERSON. Just keep going on as if it didn't even happen.
