Well. Part 4 it is.
My question today is; why do people ship? I have a few reasons.
1) They simply think the people would be good together. This is most common in real life ships because they most likely don't have an extreme emotional connection to either of the beings in the ship.
2) They have an emotional connection to both of the people in the ship. This is most common in tv shows. The 2 main characters are their favorite and they ship them because they like them both so much. Ie johnlock or destial (both shows i dont watch, oddly enough. Secondhand fandom disease is a serious problem.)
3) They are "living their love life vicariously through yours." Only one person will get the humor in this, but it still makes sense. This means that them shipping u and blah makes them feel like they are in a relationship, or they have the feeling of what you're talking about.
These reasons are all that i could think of that people may ship others. If you know their motivation, you may able to help them with their problem. Pray for the helpless.
