Morgan and Ellie talked together for a while, and they were getting to know each other better now. They were talking together about themselves and they were laughing whenever they said anything funny. ''Wow.. You are such a nice person, Morgan,'' Ellie said and she smiled at her. Morgan laughed quietly and she sighed. ''Well, I hope so,'' she said and they both chuckled a little. Ellie's glass was empty and so was Morgan's glass. ''Ahh.. It's getting late.. I should probably call a cab and get home already,'' Ellie said. ''Oh, yeah. I have a car, so.. I could drive you home? The cab is pretty expensive these days, so,'' Morgan suggested and bit her bottom lip, waiting for Ellie's opinion. Ellie looked at Morgan and thinked for a while. ''Well, I mean, if you don't mind..'' Ellie smiled again. ''Yeah, of course I don't mind. My pleasure,'' Morgan said and winked at Ellie.
They got up and headed to the exit together, then they walked outside and headed to Morgan's car. ''Do you live far from here?'' Morgan asked and looked at Ellie. ''Uhm, maybe like.. A few minutes? It's not really far from here.'' Morgan nodded slowly. They got inside the car and buckled up their seatbelt. ''Great,'' Morgan said and started the engine. ''Give me your address, will you?'' Morgan asked and Ellie nodded. She gave her the address to her place and they went off.
After a few minutes they had arrived, and Ellie's eyes widened. ''Oh God.. Uhm..'' Ellie stuttered. Morgan raised a brow at her in curiosity. ''What?'' she asked. ''My ex.. His car is here,'' she mumbled. ''We don't really come along really well.. He's probably here to get his stuff,'' she said and she sighed. Morgan felt bad for her, and she wanted to support her but she knew nothing about her ex, really. She wasn't sure if she was going to ask her about him, either. ''Oh.. I see.. Well, if you don't get along well, then.. I guess it's better if you two don't meet, or something?'' Morgan said and she shrugged a little. ''Yeah, I'd rather not,'' she said. She looked at Morgan with pleading eyes. ''Do you think I could.. Stay at your place for just tonight? I don't know how long he will stay here and I don't know where else to go. My friends lives hours from here,'' Ellie said.
Morgan just couldn't stand those pleading eyes. She couldn't say no to her at all. ''Well, I have a free room you can sleep in, so.. I guess that's okay. For your own safety,'' Morgan said and smiled. ''Really? Thanks! I really appreciate that, Morgan,'' Ellie said and she smiled happily. Morgan smiled as well and she nodded, chuckling at Ellie leaned over and hugged her. Then, Morgan began driving off again to her apartment.
After a few minutes more, they arrived at Morgan's place. She parked the car and they got out of the car and headed to the front door. Morgan unlocked the door and they went inside. ''Wow, smells good,'' Ellie commented as they walked inside. Morgan raises a brow and chuckles. ''I guess. I use scented candles,'' she said. They undressed and put their jackets and shoes away. ''You do? I do that sometimes too,'' Ellie said and she walked into the living room, looking around a little. ''Take your time and look around if you want to. I'll go lit the fireplace,'' Morgan said and she went to do so.
Ellie looked around the cozy and quiet place. She was looking in the bedrooms, which there were two of. One of the bedrooms were bigger than the other. She looked in the bathroom, which was big enough for one person. She looked in the kitchen and took a small peak in the fridge. Then, she looked in the living room again. The scent was so delicious and calming.
''There, now we won't freeze to death in here,'' Morgan said as she came back from preparing the fireplace. Ellie laughed a little and she settled down on the couch. ''It's a cute place you got here. And so cozy,'' she said and sighed heavenly. Morgan nodded. ''Yeah, I got it for a pretty cheap price. So, do you want some tea, maybe?'' Morgan asked and Ellie thought for a bit. ''Maybe some hot chocolate? If you have some,'' Ellie said. Morgan nodded. ''Some hot chocolate it will be, Princess,'' Morgan teased and she went off to the kitchen. Ellie rolled ehr eyes and laughed a little.
After a moment, Morgan came back with two mugs with hot chocolate for them both. She put the mugs down on the coffee table and she settled down. Ellie thanked her and she took a quick sip, to not burn her self from the warmth. ''So.. Your ex,'' Morgan spoke quietly and looked at Ellie. ''What happened?'' she asked. Ellie sighed softly. ''It's okay if you don't want to talk about it, I totally understand--'' ''No, no.. I trust you, so I'm fine with talking about it,'' Ellie interrupted and she smiled softly. Morgan slowly nodded and waited patiently. ''Okay, so.. Our relationship was pretty nice when we first got together. He was all sweet and kind to me.. but, somehow, he just changed. He didn't care about me anymore, and we lost contact... We only spoke together whenever he came for a visit or vise versa,'' Ellie said. ''And, then later on he had to move to my place. He had been fighting with his parents, and he got mad so he just left them. He brought his stuff to my place, and I didn't have the heart to say no to him,'' Ellie said. Morgan nodded and she listened to her. ''But just because he moved over, doesn't mean our relationship went any better. We didn't talk together, and we laid with out back against each other at night. And later on, I was at work.. And I got home earlier..'' Ellie looked down. ''When I got there, I saw a pair of a girls shoes by the door.. And when I got to the living room, he was making out with another girl. It broke my heart so much, so I broke up with him and got really mad at him, because it was if he didn't even care. I was so pissed off at him,'' she mumbled and frowned a little. Morgan sighed out softly. ''Wow, you must have been through a lot..'' Morgan said. ''Heh, yeah! I'm over him, though,'' Ellie mumbled.
Morgan slowly nodded and she pulled her in for a comforting and warm hug. ''Good. You need someone who will treat you like a Princess,'' Morgan said as they hugged. Ellie laughed softly.
