Alexander Black's POV
"Ha,you blinked !!!" Laughed Levi as he pointed at me.
"Of course I blinked, you idiot, you slapped me !!!" I growled launching myself at him.
He chuckled carelessly as he dodged my hit. I playfully scowled at him as he smiled at me sheepishly.
"I mean what are best friends for? Someone has to knock some sense into you." He chuckled shaking his head lightly.
Yes, I'm best friends with an idiot but... arent we all ?
"Since the diaper days " I replied remembering our childhood memories. Who would have thought that the computer geek and athlete would have made the ultimate duo .
"Anyway, have you gotten the location of the gun ? " I asked as I rummaged through the newly received files.
"As a matter of fact I have." replied Levi as he twirled around in his chair and gestured towards the large computer screen.
"I've done some digging and it seems as if the gun is located... right about there " he said pointing towards a little neighbourhood landlocked in the Australian continent.
He twirled his chair around and smirked at me.
"How does hot australian chicks sound to you ?"

I glanced at Levi as he typed away on his latest laptop gathering information in order to steal 'The Gun'.
Sinking my teeth into the freshly baked goodness infront of me, I observed the ice cream parlour we had conveniently entered after our 14 hour flight. The parlour had a 90's feel to it that seemed to relax me although I'm not sure why.
The rough shaking of the table brought my gaze back to Levi who had been the cause of the disturbance.I put the pastry down and glared at a smirking Levi.
"What's the situation" I asked scowling at him as his eyes twinkled in amusement.
A huge grin spread across his face as he replied "We don't have much info but what we do have is enough. The gun belongs to a female , her name is not mentioned on any sites related to the gun, it is as if she is a ghost...."
"Well wha-" I was cut off when I felt a tug at the bottom of my jeans. I snapped my head into the direction of a little girl with uncontrollable curly hair.
I glared at the child before returning my attention back to Levi hoping that she'd go away.
"Hey, mister" she slurred tugging at my jeans again.
"Go away kid " I replied angling my body away from the little devil.
"I like your penguin. He suuuurrre is cute !" She squealed ignoring my command and grabbing my arm .
'So that's what this is about' I thought to myself as I jerked my arm away from the little girl.
A tattoo I had gotten while drunk. Worst mistake I've ever made ...
and believe me I have made many.
"Yeah whatever kid, thanks. Now go back to your mummy." I said dismissively as I waved her off.
"My mummy went to heaven- that's what Charlie says " She muttered as she took the seat adjacent to Levi and I.
I immediately stiffened after hearing what the child had said staring blankly at Levi as I did so.
He shook his head in disappointment as he tickled the child trying to brighten up the tense atmosphere.
"Did you know that penguins stick with their partners for life. It's like they are soulmates" explained Levi to the little girl, smiling as she gasped in surprise.
"Lacy, there you are !" A melodious almost angelic voice exclaimed.
My eyes involuntary followed the voice only to be met by a women around my age.
She was beautiful, absolutely astonishing. Her hazel chocolaty orbs were filled with worry and relief as she strode towards 'lacy' with a certain elegance and poise. Her raven black hair swaying in unison with her curvaceous hips as she bent down picking up the little girl and placing her on her hips. I couldn't help but stare at her ass as she did so.
I turn to Levi only to find him trapped in the same trance I had soon to be snapped out off.
If only her beauty was as less hypnotic....
*Queue eye roll*
"She's -ughhh - I mean - but- just -wow..." I thought as I stared at her in awe.
"What have I told you about talking to strangers" exclaimed the beauty yet to be named.
"Buuuut Chaarlieee
He had a penguin! " whined Lacy as she pointed towards my tattoo.
'Charlie huh ? Suites her.' I thought to myself as Charlie's gaze followed Lacys finger to the mistake of my drunk actions.
She burst out laughing as soon as her eyes landed on the tattoo. Such action would have resulted in me throwing a fit. As much as I tried to scowl or get angry with her, I simply couldn't. Her laugh seemed to have sparked an interest in me. It was as if she was laughing in slow motion, I couldn't help but notice the way her eyes crinkled as she laughed or that the wider she smiled the deeper her dimples became.
'What is wrong with me?! Stop being so girly Alexander !!! " I scolded myself watching Charlie as she sobered up still chuckling as she did so.
"Whats the story behind that tat ?" She asked gesturing towards my arm.
"Consequences of alcohol" I said smirking as she giggled.
"Anyways I'm Charlie as you might of already heard and this little bugger is Lacy" she said smiling at the mention of Lacy.
"Alexander and this man baby is-"I started only to be interrupted by Levi.
"Levi, nice to meet you sweetheart. " Levi said winking at Charlie as he kissed her hand.
Charlie rolled her eyes at Levi while smiling.
"Well it was nice meeting you both but Lacy and I have someone waiting for us. Say bye, Lacy" said Charlie as she faced Lacy towards us.
"Bye Xander and Leev" said Lacy as she waved goodbye.
Charlie smiled and nodded goodbye as she walked away with Lacy.
I turn back to Levi to ask him what information he does have on the gun . While doing so I heard the bells above the door jingle. Ignoring the sound I picked up my pastry only to be interrupted again by a tug at the bottom of my jeans. Sighing I looked down at Lacy.
"What is it this time,kid ?" I said a bit to harshly but it seemed as if she was not effected by my cold demeanour.
She smiled at me and reached on her tipy ties to whisper in my ears :
"I hope you find your penguin partner, Xander ".
She giggled as if what she had just told me was top secret and skipped out of the ice cream parlour.
But I couldn't help but wonder...
' What if i never find her ? '.
