Stormy Night<Eduardo/Jon>

//A/N: it's been three years since I posted something here and I feel very anxious about it. I love storm fan fics too much//

Jon sighed, laying on his bed and staring at the ceiling. He'd been trying to sleep for a while, but he couldn't seem to. He rolled over on his side to try to sleep again, only to be shot wide awake by a loud boom from out side.

He quickly leapt out of his bed and ran to the door, stumbling a bit. He threw his door open and quickly ran down the hall, still stumbling slightly before he opened the door to Eduardo's room. He entered the room, slamming the door shut behind him, leaning against it and whimpering a bit.

"Jon, what are you doing in here? It's 2 AM!" Jon jumped a bit when he heard Eduardo speak. He sounded slightly irritated. Jon opened his mouth to say something, but all that came out was a panicked squeak when a bright light flashed outside. He quickly ran over to Eduardo, throwing himself next to him and curling up, trembling.

Eduardo was surprised when Jon jumped on him and was about to knock him off, but realized it'd be no use since Jon was clinging tightly against his arm. Then, it hit him. Jon was afraid of storms. He felt bad for wanting to push Jon away, because he already did that enough with everyone.

"Are you scared of the storm?" Eduardo asked to let Jon know he cared about him. Jon nodded hesitantly, burning his face into Eduardo's arm, flinching whenever he heard thunder, even if it wasn't loud. Eduardo felt for Jon. He wrapped his arms around the scared boy. "You can stay in here for the night, I 'spose" Eduardo said.

"...thanks" Jon mumbled, hugging Eduardo tightly. Jon shut his eyes, trying to sleep. He had thought the storm had begun to calm down, since he couldn't heart the rain hitting the window anymore. He felt himself drifting off, only to be woken up and startled by more thunder. Everytime Jon would flinch or whimper, Eduardo discreetly pulled Jon closer. He even grabbed Jon's hand and gave it a small squeeze in hopes of calming him down.

Jon clung onto Eduardo like his life depended on it, and to him, it sort of did. With Eduardo comforting him, he honestly felt less scared during the storm then he would be if he were alone.

Eduardo felt good that his comfort was somewhat working. Jon stopped shaking and whimpering so much. The storm was mostly passing, light rain was hitting the window now. Hopefully no more thunder would come. Jon signed a bit, trying to sleep again. This time, he actually fell asleep, still clinging onto Eduardo.

Eduardo looked to the man in his hold. He was peacefully sleeping. The storm has passed, just light rain now. He should kick Jon out, but Jon already has trouble sleeping, he didn't want to rile him up again. So he let him stay and tried to fall asleep as well.

Jon yawned a bit as he woke up. He opened his eyes, and looked around the room, slightly confused as to why he was in Eduardo's room. It took him a few seconds before he realized that he was cuddled up next to Eduardo. Jon shrugged it off and cuddled up closer to Eduardo, closing his eyes. He wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, but he didn't want to get up.

Eduardo blushed a little when he felt Jon snuggle up to him. He decided that trying to sleep again was pointless, and sat up and rubbed his eyes. He also ruffled Jon's fluffy hair for fun. Jon giggled a little when Eduardo ruffled his hair. He looked up at Eduardo before sitting up next to him.

"So, how did you sleep?" Eduardo asked in his tired voice. Jon stretched a little before sighing. "Better then I have in a while" he smiled. Eduardo smiled. "That's good!"

He got up off the bed and looked back to Jon. "If you ever get scared again, you are allowed to come in here." He paused. "As long as you knock, because I got really scared when you burst in, haha"

Jon nodded. "Thank you, and I'll knock next time" he chuckled. Eduardo smiled.

"Good. And don't come in here every night, I enjoy your company but not all the time."
