"Laroya, Mahndi," a guardian spoke, "I've information on the Temidial Society."

Mandy opened their eyes and sat upright in their throne. "Speak of it," they aired.

"Well, ah, you see, they've been attacked. The Umbrae, they set forth an attack and succeeded without a doubt."

"Casualties?"

"About 12,340."

"And what about survivors?"

"We couldn't tell. They were all still in hiding. We did not stay long during our visit, but we can-"

Mandy put their hand up in interruption, "Thank you. That's all I needed to know. I want you to locate the Moondial in the dimension of Them and destroy it. Set path tomorrow at dawn; Their monsters cannot survive the day."

"Yes, Laroya."

"On your way out, could you send in Wiknar, Warrion, Neaeva, and Juvia."

The guard walked out the large doors, and in came the four Mandy requested. The walked among the royal red carpet and observed the room as if they had never set foot indoors. Neaeva halted and stopped the others with her arm. "Mahndi," she spoke, "you wish to see us?" Mandy looked at them with a blank yet threatening expression, their nurses' cape being pushed to the side as they rested their arms to the sides. "I would like to send Warri and Wiknar amongst the stars," they replied. Neaeva looked back at Warrion and Wiknar.

"Warrion has little experience amongst intergalactic travel. He knows how to do the job well, though I'm not sure he will be able to reach your extremes."

"Nonsense, the boy must learn somehow. He will be working beside Wiknar Xzol."

"Though it is that Wiknar is the best in the transportation field, I fear they may not get along well."

"Hup, perhaps we should see what she has to say."

"With the information that Warrion is no beginner," Wiknar contributed to her part, "I feel I will do fine with him. We're both highly trained warriors in case of confrontation, and I have navigated several journeys with inexperienced travelers. We will do fine."

Wiknar and Warrion looked at each other. Both were meeting for the first time with no previous knowledge of each other's existence. Wiknar's eyes looked disinterested and unimpressed, but that was just the shape of them. Warrion's dominant eyes looked similar, though they looked more as if he were in battle. The rest of his eyes were wide open. Wiknar faced forward, showing no response towards Warri.

"Neaeva and Juvia, you two will be in charge of keeping track of them. Make sure they are to stay on route, and that they stay safe," Mandy added, "Wiknar, Warri, stay here. You other two can leave."

Mandy got off the throne and walked up to them. Their head stood tucked down, but their eyes stayed up. All of the training with the martingale was actually worthwhile, at least for the Federation. Their hands clasped behind their back as they walked yet remained under the cape. They stood before the two, presented with a royal stance, and standing only 5'6". They sighed, "I know both of you personally. One more than the other. But you still know me. Perhaps you know what I expect you to do?"

"Locate Skitzabreveux, correct?" Wiknar queried.

"No. I want you to think long and hard about this federation. I know it seems strange, but trust me, you will eventually understand. There is a hidden task in those thoughts that you will encounter. I cannot tell you the task, as they will hear me, but I trust that both of you are logical enough to find it."

"Where are we to set off?"

"Anywhere you please. Bounce from place to place, but do not come back unless informed by me personally. Understood?"

"Ven."

"Warrion?"

"Yes," he replied.

"I trust that you can and will control yourself."
