"Mom!" Aviana screamed out from upstairs.

"Yes?!"

"Come here!"

"I can't right now baby! Oh, and get ready for school!"

"So much for that idea..." Aviana removed the latex wound on her arm and wiped off the fake blood. Soon enough Aviana was ready, dressed in a red white heart patterned off the shoulder baggy shirt with a white tank top underneath with ripped up black jeans.

She walked out and headed towards school where she went throughout her day happily until the end of school. Upon the school day ending she began cleaning up her homeroom. As she was four boy walked in, two of them grabbed her arms and ripped her headphones from her ears.

She growled looking at them and as she got punched in the stomach, the lights flickered and windows burst open. The boys looked around but shook it off since it was storming badly outside. They proceeded to brutally beat Aviana, or at least try to when the desks and chairs flew backward into the walls.

She looked at them as the broom from the utility locker 'knocked' one of the boys out. The other three ran off. Aviana saw the boy and tried to help him but his head was already bleeding. She took deep breaths trying to calm down and as she ran off her own abilities healing the boy.

She ran to the nearest park with the storm picking up, by this time it was raining so hard it was near impossible to see through it. She cried and cried as the day passed and the night appeared. Aviana stood up. She wiped her eyes and cleared her throat walking home to her mother.

As she got home her mother was laying on the couch reading a letter. It was on a tan parchment paper.

"Mom? Why-"

"I-It's nothing!!" She yelled before Aviana had a chance to finish and through the letter into the fire.

Aviana sighed not wanting to fight about what it could've been.

The next morning, Aviana skipped school. Her mother was off to work and as Aviana slept an owl hit her window screen. She sat up immediately and let it in.

"Bloody Hell! You're a crazy little owl aren't ya?" She sighed. She saw a letter on the ground and picked it up. "Is this what ya nearly knocked your brains out for?" She looked on the back of it.

Aviana Burgundy Dread Elula
503 Grandan Street
London, UK

"What... Why does this have MY name and the home address?" She opened the letter and began reading.

Dear Ms Elula,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at;
Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins 1 September. We await your owl no later than 31 July.

                                      Yours Sincerely,

                                      Lilian Michelle
                                      Head Mistress

"I... Wait... What?" Aviana looked at the owl as it flew away.

Later that day, when her mother got home she confronted her about it. Her mother tried to bring up an argument but when Aviana screamed saying she WANTED to know her mother sighed and sat down with her.

"Baby, you have to understand, there are reasons why I didn't want to send you..." Her mother sighed.

"What are the reasons?" Aviana looked at her.

"I..." She covered her face. "I'm not your ACTUAL mother. I'm... I'm your godmother..."

"You... You..."

"Please, I didn't lie to you I swear you're like my own child but I just couldn't bare telling you about your real parents or your past... It was so horrible... And everyone in the wizarding world took it so badly... They marked you and your ancestors as a curse... Some being great wizards..." She covered her face. "And my baby sister... She was the kindest witch there was... When she died and everyone drove us away... I came here... With you... To try and save you from the humiliation..."

"I... All this time... You lied..." Aviana stood up and put her hands on her head thinking back to the boy at school. She looked at her godmother. "I want to go to Hogwarts."

"Aviana!"

"I want to go! Please! Just... Just let me go..."

Her godmother shook her head and sighed heavily. "Okay..."

"Thank you..."

"I know where we can get your things... I'll send the owl out..."

"Aviana go get your wand dear. I need to go to Gringotts." Her mother patted her back and Aviana nodded still amazed at the scenery around her.

As she went to Ollivander's Wand Shop. As she walked in and the door closed behind her a woman came up to the counter. "Yes?" The woman gasped a bit.

Aviana looked at her. "What? What is it?" She looked around. "Did someone get hurt?"

The woman laughed. "No no deary. It's just, you're an Elula is that right?"

Aviana looked at the woman. "Yes... Who... Who are you?"

"Oh! How rude of me!" She smiled. "I'm Olivia Ollivander."

"Aviana." Aviana responded. "I'm-"

"In search of a wand, yes, yes, I know..." Olivia smiled. "Come, come!" She ran into a isle.

Aviana walked up to the stand awaiting her return. She came back on a rolling ladder jumping down. She handed Aviana a wand. She gave it a flick, with the flick a candle's flame burned like an open flame. Aviana stood back and dropped the wand.

"Oooookay, nope." Olivia handed her another wand, another, and another but none of them worked. "That's quite odd... I may have to make you a special wand..." Olivia smiled. "Yay! I love a good challenge! I'll have you a wand as soon as you arrive at Hogwarts!"

Aviana nodded and walked out. "Aviana!" She looked over at her mother who was leading a Labrador. Aviana ran over smiling happily.
