Marinette zipped up her suitcase and breathed in.

"Come on Tiki! The last thing I want is for you to get left behind!" Marinette called.

No answer.

"Tiki?" Marinette repeated looking around the room. "Tiki where are you?"

A sharp tap on the windows caught her attention however.

"So you got accepted into the fashion college you've always wanted to go to?" Chat asked glumly as he slid onto her bed.

"Yeah! Isn't that awesome?" Marinette beamed happily.

"I guess..." Chat sighed. He had also gotten accepted to the college but Marinette didn't know who he was so, he wouldn't be able to see her as Chat for a while.

"Oh...right...I guess...this is goodbye, huh?" Marinette sighed.

Chat fought back tears, he didn't want to realize this could be the last time she'd see him. Ever.

"Promise me, you'll come back?" Chat looked up into her eyes.

"I...I promise!" Marinette cried hugging him tightly, letting the hot tears run down her cheeks.

"Here, to make sure you keep that promise." He undid the string on his bell and tied it around her neck.

"I'll miss you, princess." Chat smiled a tiny bit, rubbing her back. Tears ran down his cheeks too.

"I'll miss you too, kitty." Marinette smiled.

"I have to go now though, I'm going to college too actually." Chat rubbed his arm when Marinette leaned back, already missing her warmth.

"Good luck then!" Marinette smiled.

"You too, and I'll see you in about...2 years?" Chat shrugged.

"I'll come back for spring break you silly cat!" Marinette laughed tapping his nose, like she'd done countless times as Ladybug. Which reminded her...

Ladybug swung through the city and then a black blur caught her eye.

"Chat?" She asked softly, skidding to a stop on the rooftops.

"Hey Ladybug." Chat smiled, stepping out of the shadows.

"How are you, long time no see." She smiled back.

"I'm doing okay I guess, I just said goodbye to my girlfriend, she's off to fashion college," He shrugged. "So...I guess I'm as happy as I can be."

"I guess this is goodbye for us as well." Ladybug sighed after a long moment of silence between them.

"I guess so." Chat sighed as well, avoiding eye contact.

"It was fun while it lasted, all those fights and even defeating Hawkmoth as well." Ladybug smiled.

"Hey! Defeating Hawkmoth was not fun, we both ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks!" Chat almost shouted.

"I wasn't talking about that, I meant our adventures together and the time and trust we spent with each other." Ladybug looked over at him.

"I...need to admit something." Chat sighed.

Ladybug looked up at him, her heart pounding in her chest.

"Before I met Marinette, well, after she gave me something I really needed, I kind of...had a crush on you." Chat sighed rubbing the back of his neck and blushing.

"I guess I kind of knew that already." Ladybug smiled looking into his deep emerald green eyes.

"I did make it obvious, didn't I?" Chat laughed.

"Promise me something Chat?" Ladybug asked, getting serious again.

"Anything milady." He looked up at her.

"Promise me...we'll see each other again someday."
