Sirius POV:
Harry stepped out of the fireplace and my heart gave a great leap. He'd grown since I'd last seen him, even though it was just a week ago.
"Sirius!" Harry yelled
Next thing I knew, I was on the ground. Harry had tackled me.
"Did you miss me, mate?" I laughed
"Yeah." Harry said, pulling himself off the ground
I did the same and laughed at him again. His hair was complete mess (which wasn't unusual) and he was wearing the exact same shirt he'd been wearing that day at the Ministry.
"What?" He asked
"You know," Tonks answered for me "not having a mother does not mean you can wear the same shirt every day."
He looked down and began to laugh.
"Yeah, guess I was a little distracted this morning."
"Let's get to business, shall we?" Dumbledore asked, slipping into the middle of the circle we had subconsciously made.
"Er, how are we going to figure this out exactly?" I asked
"Easily. Same way we would test inheritance. If Harry is truly a, let's say adopted member of your family then Kreacher should listen to him. Should he not?" Dumbledore replied
I gave a nod.
"Kreacher!" I called
"Yes master?" The repulsive thing asked, appearing before me.
I looked at Harry.
"What am I supposed to do?" He asked
"Just tell him to do something." I said
"Er, Kreacher go make Ron's bed." He ordered the house elf
Kreacher disappeared and a few moments later he was walking down the stairs.
"The blood traitor brat's bed is made." Kreacher spat
"Don't call him that." Harry said
Kreacher's mouth slammed shut and I looked at Dumbledore.
"That settles it." Dumbledore said with a smile "I will have your school things sent to Grimauld place and will notify the Dursleys of the change in custody.
"Don't bother." Harry said "They won't even notice that I'm gone."
