-Intercom- "Emma Lassiter please come to the Main Square"

Emma is called, yet again. The Westley Adoption center is very fond of her, in a bad way. She carefully set down the "sculpture" she was making in the extracurricular activities and left, shutting the door behind her. Everyone gives her dirty looks, she always feels watched. The kids in her class glared at her as she left. Emma walks through the corridor of activities and down the steps to the "Main Square". The Main Square is where the front desk is, and also where a lot of the meetings take place. Most times, you're in trouble if you get called there. This is the 3rd time today, and she is sick and tired of running up and down the stairs.

"What do you want?" Emma snickers.

"Hey hun, someone wants to talk to you. Do you mind waiting here for a couple minutes? They should be here shortly." Says Janet, the desk lady.

"Who's they?" Emma wonders.

Emma quickly runs up the steps and takes her phone and notepad, which she carries everywhere. It's her personal diary, but nothing personal is in there. There isn't time or room for "Personal" in here. In the big town of L.A , many kids end up in the Westley Center. They don't call it an adoption center only because they don't want to make kids feel bad, even though everyone knows what it is. Emma comes back down stairs, and the desk lady is talking to some people in lab coats.
