The night was spent restless.
Emma's bed was strange. She sat on it all night playing and talking with her best friend , Myah. Emma and Myah new each other since they were born. Emma's past was blurry, but she knows her parents died. After that, Myah and her family always visited her at the Center.
Myah texted Emma and told her that she felt weird.
"Me either. I was adopted yesterday, it doesn't feel right"." Replied Emma.
Myah didn't text back. Emma stopped texting. She put her phone away and tried to stop thinking, and soon enough, it was like her mind was consuming itself in thought. What would have happened if she had escaped?
