Vanessa POV

I feel kind of weird in Jake's shirt and girls been glaring at me all morning.

"love the shirt Vanessa and I know it's not yours, spill", Dianne says as we head to the cafeteria.

"in the lab this morning Heidi and her partner blew up their experiment and I got some goo on me and didn't have any extra shirt so Jake offer me his", I respond.

"all I heard was lab, Heidi, goo, Jake and shirt", Dianne says and I laugh.

"that was actually sweet of him", she adds.

We end the cafeteria and I see Jake eyes immediately on me and was shining.

I try hard not to look as I got in line behind Dianne.

Dianne gasp as she sees Tyrell right in front of her, taking his food.

He turns around, winks at her then got out of the line and head to the popular table.

"he just-omg", she shrieks and I sigh and roll my eyes.

"hi Vanessa mind if I sit?"  Kevin ask me.

"nope, you're not going to talk to my best friend when I am about to get the last slice of double chocolate cake", I growl and take it quickly.

"geesh woman, I just wanted to ask her something", he sighs as we move up into the line.

I step aside and let Kevin pass.

"hi can I get a cut as well, I am really hungry", a jock says behind me.

"ha, fat chance, you're not important", i say as the line continue to go up.

"hi Vanessa want to join me at Kevin's table, don't worry Heidi is in detention", Dianne says.

"it's not her I am worry about it's Jake's sassy sister and her friends", I say.

"if you don't come, I'll tell everyone about your night light", she whispers to me.

"you wouldn't dare", I hiss.

"try me bitch", she smirks and I sigh.

I sit down between Jake and Tyrell, who is trying to get Jake's sister attention and Dianne is glaring at Brenda who is talking trash.

"this is how your table is? Boring?", I ask Jake.

"no it's much lively, but I like the quiet no Heidi breakdown for once", he looks so relieve. Wow it is that bad.

"so you guys up for Heidi's party Friday?", Sharon I think ask.

"yea I guess, but we all know Jake's Halloween party is the best party of the year", Jennifer says.

That's right Jake's Halloween Party is legendary even the nerds know about it.

"I don't want to brag or anything, but yes even Chase can't compete against me", Jake says.

"yeah, cause your freaking house is like a castle", Chase replies.

"excuse me, but what's she doing here", I hear Heidi growls.

"I invited her to lunch", Jake answers and her mouth falls open.

"why? she doesn't belong here and either is her slutty looking friend", she snaps.

Dianne glares at her, uh no she cross the boundaries this time.

Dianne stands up and slam her hands on the table,"who you're calling a slut, your legs are open 24 o 7 for guys, so you better keep your mouth shut", she snaps and leaves.
