10 years later

Monica is now 20 years old with so much weight on her shoulders . Ever since her father got locked up 4 years ago her world has been crashing down on her .
He left her with her step mother. They dont see eye- to - eye often so soon as she graduated she moved out. She used to see her father once a month but, That changed now .

Monica decided to write a letter to her father instead. She was gonna tell him that she was leaving california and the reason why .

Monica thought long and hard before driving to the post office . She decided to leave in 3 weeks tops . She had planning to do .

5 hours later

Monica has been up since 5 pm thinking. She was in such a daze that that she didnt see david standing there with white roses and a really expensive purse . He looked sad . "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW I WAS CRYING ?" She said looking up at him . She was really tired of this . She was tired of being treated like someones property.

"Look just leave me alone " monica said then crossed her arms . Bold ? Yes . Him beating on her just made her want to leave even sooner .

"Your so lucky i have to leave !" He said balling up his fists .

It was time to leave . She smiled to herself . She soon started to rethink her plans . Maybe she should leave sooner than 3 weeks .
