"Yeah?" I said walking towards her

I'm so bored at home watching movies by myself. It's honestly hard being single but relationships for me don't work. They distract me when it comes to my designing career, so I try to focus on my work. Le and Zari say I'm uptight but I like the way I am not relying on anyone even though I want to be able to curl up in someone's arms.
I was knocked out of my thoughts when my phone rang. "Hello?"
"Ray...I'm bored," Leland paused "I'm on my way to your house with tequila."
"Umm ok." I paused "I have ice and pineapple juice."
"Alright bitch come through." Leland said laughing
"I'm honestly happy you called, I'm alone watching shrek."
"Yesss shrek is a vibe." he said laughing "let me hang up girl I'm almost there."

I finally get to Rays house and she honestly shocked me when she grabbed the bottle from my hand...
"Damn bitch, you alright?" I said seriously

"Because your 'i don't like to drink' ass just snatched the bottle from my hand."
"Hmm." she shrugged
"I want to call Zee but she's married." I said laughing
"What do you mean?"
"You already know Zee is a freak. Her and Marlen are always fuckin," I chuckled " so you never know what she's doing."
"Well yea," she paused laughing "let's call her."
