A bloodied man lay panting on a field, his back on the ground, his face to the sky, his chest impaled by an old and worn sword. A white cloth, now bloodstained, wrapped around the hilt of the sword.
My fellow friends, this sword has been stained with the blood of thousands, and its owner's blood as well- how could it not happen?
On the hilt of the old sword was an engraving of a goblin's face. As a delicate, white butterfly rested on the hilt, images flash by onscreen: A screeching car. A woman's hand. White snow slowly turning red.
Only the goblin's bride can pull out the sword embedded in his chest. Once the sword is pulled, may he return to ashes and rest in peace.
