Don't Play With Me, Boy (Taehyung X Reader)

Several weeks have gone by since Taehyung left and he only texted you once a week and called you twice. You understood he had a really busy schedule, just like you, and it was also hard because of time zones, but you still wished he made more time for you just like you do for him. What if he forgot about me, or worse; what if he's cheating on me? No no no. You shook the negative thoughts out of your head and just decided to focus on your work.

Later, you decided to take a break and check your social media. You went to Twitter and a certain tweet caught your attention:

@BTS_twt: Tune into our live interview today at 3:00 PM KST!!!

You checked the time and it was 9:42 PM PST, which meant that the interview would be starting in 18 minutes. You grabbed your laptop, went to the website, and waited. Soon their interview started. You saw Taehyung and damn did he look good. Even thousands of miles away, he could still make your heart flutter. You enjoyed the interview as they were asked strange and funny questions and requests from the interviewers and the fans. Then the interviewer asked a question that made your ears perk up:

"So everyone knows that you and international pop star Y/N Y/L/N have been dating for a while. How's your super cute relationship going?"

"Eh it's OK I guess," replied Taehyung casually. OK I GUESS?!?! WHAT THE HELL KINDA ANSWER IS THAT? You slammed your laptop shut and took out your phone and typed an angry text:

Me: I saw your interview.

You knew that he wouldn't see it until after the interview, so you decided to stay up to wait for his reply. After what felt like years, he finally replied:

Taehyungie: Oh.

Seriously did he forget that you are his freaking GIRLFRIEND? It sounded like he could not care less.

Me: I also saw the part where he asked about our relationship. I LOVED your answer.

You hoped he would figure out you were being sarcastic.

Taehyungie: Well what else was I supposed to say?

That was it. You were done. You turned off your phone and decided to go to sleep. You were already upset that he was pretty much ignoring you now that he was halfway across the world, but from the interview, it sounded like he just really had no interest in dating you right now. You decided that you were going to give your boyfriend a hell of a hard time about this the next time he called. If he would even call at all. You just hoped with all of your heart that he hadn't forgot about you or found someone else.
