You were waiting for Taehyung to pick you up. Because you lost the game against him last week, you had to take him somewhere. You bought two tickets to a baseball game because you know Taehyung likes going to games especially since it's more popular here than Korea. When you told Taehyung where the two of you were going to go, he was more than excited and said he would come pick you up. You heard your doorbell ring. It must be him.
"Hi Taehyung," you greeted him. You were almost about to call him Taetae, but you caught yourself at the last second. You had decided that today you were going to keep your feelings in check and not let your secret feelings for Taehyung show through. You needed to get over him.
"Hi princess." He gave you a hug. "Come on hurry up, let's go," he said dragging you out of your house. Oh my god stop being so freaking cute all the time. No stop I shouldn't be thinking these things. You drove over there and went to your seats after getting food. "YOU GOT US THE PREMIUM SEATS?!?!" Taehyung asked shocked. You smirked in response. "But those things cost a fortune."
"But it was worth it to see you this happy." GODDAMMIT Y/N CAN'T YOU FOLLOW SIMPLE RULES?!??
TAEHYUNG'S POINT OF VIEW
"But it was worth it to see you this happy." Omg what. What does she mean by that? She likes seeing me happy? A slight blush crept to my cheeks. Maybe she's still not completely over me yet. If I tried to get her back, would she come back? I didn't realize that the entire time I was zoned out, I had my stupid lovesick smile on my face.
"Why are you smiling?" she asks. Uh oh. Should I tell the truth or not? I decided to tell the truth.
"Oh, I was just thinking about you, princess." Her cheeks turned pink and she looked down, trying to hide her evident smile. She definitely still loves me. Just something as small as telling her I was thinking about her makes her smile. Noted. I vowed to always tell her the truth from this moment on.
"Why do you need to think about me when I'm right here?" This girl needs to stop playing with my heart.
"You make a good point," I tried to say genuinely but it came out as sarcastic. She jokingly smacked my chest lightly. The game started and I was so entertained. Not only by the game, but also by Y/N. This idiot, why did you choose to go to a baseball game if you know nothing about baseball? She kept asking what was going on and when they were going to do a slam dunk or a touchdown. And then when the other team scored a home run, she started cheering for them and I had to tell her that she was cheering for the wrong team. It turns out she thought you had to cheer every time someone reached home plate. Why are you such an adorable dumbass?
It was finally intermission. They started showing things on the big screens like the advertisements and the Kiss Cam. The Kiss Cam was this thing they always did at baseball games where the camera would zoom in on a couple and they would have to kiss each other in front of everyone on the big screen and TV. It until I saw mine and Y/N's face on the big screen I stopped being calm. HOLY CRAP WE ARE ON THE FUCKING KISS CAM. I turned to Y/N and she was as nervous as I was. I took a deep breath and gently cupped her face and pressed my lips against hers.
YOUR POINT OF VIEW
Ha. I feel sorry for the suckers who end up on the Kiss Cam.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
Welp.
Taehyung cupped your face and started to lean closer. Is he actually gonna kiss me? But then again, you wouldn't mind if he actually did. But then again, you shouldn't if you want to get over him. But then again—. Your thoughts were cut off when you felt Taehyung's lips against yours. But as quickly as it had started, it was over. The entire crowd started whooping and screaming. You were beyond embarrassed and you could tell Taehyung was too as his face was red and he didn't make eye contact for ten minutes after that. You, on the other hand kept finding yourself staring at him. Did I enjoy the kiss? You weren't going to lie to yourself, you felt the butterflies you always used to when you kissed him. Keep your damn feelings in check. You couldn't stop thinking about the kiss for the rest of the game, something which Taehyung probably forgot about by now.
TAEHYUNG'S POINT OF VIEW
I tried to pay attention to the game, but all I could think about was the kiss. She had actually kissed me back. Did she do that because she wanted to kiss me or because she didn't want to look bad in front of everyone? Ugh I should stop overthinking this. She probably forgot about it by now.
YOUR POINT OF VIEW
Taehyung had dropped you home and after you had gotten in and closed the door, you started squealing like a little girl. What is wrong with me? Calm down, it was just a kiss.
"I kind of want him back," you said out loud to yourself. Should I forgive him? Should I give him another chance? Does he deserve it? Do I deserve it?
~flashback~
"Do you really have to go?" you asked through tears.
"I'm so sorry princess, it's just for a few months. I'll be back before you know it." This was the first tour Taehyung was going on since you guys had started dating. You were used to seeing him every day, and now you won't be seeing him for a few months.
"Maybe we should break up. Long distance relationships never work out."
"No, no, no. We can make this work, right? We love each other so, so much. Don't worry. We have such a beautiful relationship, we can't throw this away."
"I'm just gonna miss you so much."
"I know. I'm going to miss you like crazy, too. But I'll text you every day. And I'll call and FaceTime you as much as I can. And I'll get you a lot of presents from all the countries I visit."
"Alright, fine. Don't look at other girls while you're away," you said jokingly, but he thought you were serious.
"Of course not. Only you, princess. Okay I have to go now. Bye my angel." He held you tightly in his arms and stroked your hair until you stopped crying.
"I love you so much," you said before giving him a long, passionate kiss.
"I love you more." And with that, he left. It turned out that he actually kept his promise, and did everything he said he would. Even if he was dead tired at 3am after a long day of practice, he would still send you a simple 'I love you' text. He really loved you a lot and we was never planning to let you go.
~end of flashback~
You wanted him. No, you didn't just want him, you needed him. Actually what you needed was to stop thinking about him. You decided to drown out all your thoughts in wine. Unfortunately, you had a little too much and you also have a little drunk texting problem. You pulled out your phone and composed a brutally honest text about your true feelings and sent it.
A/N: Hey guys did you like it? I kept my promise to have some fluffy chapters, so here you go. Anyways, thanks for reading!
