"Now eat your breakfast Ro, I can't stay all day in your room." Brie laughed and I nodded.

"Okay, okay Brie." I chuckled and grabbed the toast.

"And don't you dare forget to take your medicine, I'll kill you if you don't." She said playfully mad.

I chuckled again and nodded quickly.

"I will Mom, now go do your work." I bit into my toast and she laughed.

"See you later Ro." She said and walked away.

I smiled and chewed.

Brie is so nice and sweet to me. Like a best friend.
Maybe she's my best friend?
No, we've only known each other for like three hours or so but maybe... She's a friend. I don't have many of those.
Just because I'm gay...

I sighed.

I was really popular in highschool and college. I played football and had good grades. Every girl loved me and every boy envied me but... I didn't want to impress girls or try to be better than my teammates. I wasn't a typical jock. I just liked to play...
My highschool dream was to sit on the bleachers in my boyfriend's jersey and cheer him on while he's playing but I was scared to come out in highschool so I just kept on pretending to be a typical jock.

I put my toast down and wiped away a tear.

But everything changed in college...
My father pressured me into a relationship with the girl down the street.
She was nice and all but I am gay. Being in a relationship with a girl isn't really what a gay guy wants.
Everytime she kissed me I thought of the hot guy in my class and it kinda worked until she wanted sex.
I tried to explain to her that I'm not ready but she told me that she would break up with me if I wouldn't have sex with her and I knew that if that would happen that my Dad would kill me so I agreed.
Just like when we kissed I thought of the hot guy in my class and it was really helpful. I got hard and could do what I had to but the outcome was horrible.
The condom broke and she was not on birth control... She got pregnant.
When she found out she broke up with me and told me that I have to take care of the child cause her parents wouldn't let her get an abortion... She didn't want 'it' to ruin her life.

I sniffled and rubbed my eyes.

I miss my little Joelle...
So much...

The door opened and Brie sat down on my bed.

"Ro... Don't cry... Please don't cry." she said and rubbed my shoulder.

I looked at her and felt tears running down my cheeks.

"I-I'm sorry..." I sniffled.

"Don't be, just tell what's wrong."

"I-I miss her... I miss her so much Brie."

"Who?"

"J-joelle... My daughter."

"Oh no, Ro..."

"Please... No pity."

Brie shook her head.

"Maybe I can call someone for you who could bring Joelle here."

"My Mom..." I mumbled.

"I'll call her and convince her for you. You will see your little girl Ro."

I smiled slightly and nodded.

"Thanks Brie."

"No problem." She smiled and walked outside.

I will see my little Jojo...

Whatever, it's done now.

So does someone remember how old Joelle in this book is?
