(Jazmyn's POV)

For two whole minutes, we said nothing to each other. All that happened was the occasional smile as our eyes met. Finally, I just had to break the silence.

"Um, how you been?" I said, trying the break the awkwardness. Seems weird right? You can't even be comfortable with your own boyfriend, wait are we even still dating?

"Okay, I've been good but let's just get straight to the point," he said. Holding my hands between his, he looked up and continued:" Why did you leave?"

"Because Brandon said you didn't want me here," I replied blankly.

"Besides that?" He asked, his eyebrow arched as he questioned.

"I couldn't process the fact that you believed him and not me," I said as I tried to restrict myself from crying. Hunter let out a sighed and looked back up at me, I could see his head straining to look up so I sat down on the bed.

"Inside, I had a feeling you were right, and also couldn't believe my best friend would do that," Hunter said.

"So, we're good?" I asked.

He smiled and said: "We're good," I was so glad. We hugged each other and gave me a kiss on the cheek. Then the question popped right back into my brain, were we still together? As much as I would love to be his girlfriend again, I was more concerned if he was comfortable with the relationship.

"So, what are we, exactly?" I asked.

"Well, we never broke up, but I'll ask again. If you're ready, Jazmyn Dallas, will you be my girlfriend again?" He asked with his adorable puppy dog eyes. I smiled and nodded. Our journey is going to continue for a long time, I hope. An at that moment, I knew exactly what I wanted to be in the future.
