We've been together now for such a long time,
For every trial that our friendship have faced...
It's amazing how we both overcome these,
But I know because it's God helping us through it all...
I always thank Him for leading me to you,
Ours is not always a bed of roses,
But we always talked it all out,
Hearing each other's side without prejudiced...
Thank you for giving me yourself and your family,
You let me feel that I'm not alone in this world,
That what yours is also mine and what's mine is also yours,
I've never felt well loved since being orphaned for the last seven years...
Words cannot expressed the deepest gratitude that I'm feeling,
Because my love for you is overwhelming,
You made me feel I'm also important,
Even though you have your own life to live...
I cannot give you an extravagant gift that anybody wanted,
All I can give you is this poetry that comes from my heart,
Hope you'll be able to feel this surmountable feeling,
That I can only convey through the tip of my pen...
Today as we celebrate the heart's day,
I know that you'll be receive all kinds of gifts and greetings,
You'll be too preoccupied with the overflowing love from everybody,
You'll be overwhelmed by the admirations you'll gonna have...
Hope that even if all of these might happen,
You'll be able to look at your blind side,
And see this simple poem that I've written,
That my heart were able to produce...

To the person which I love next to God and my family,
To the one who stood beside me, proud and strong,
