My Best Friend

My mom and I are at the park on this beautiful summer day. I looked around and saw other boys that are playing tag and wanted to join them but I was afraid they wouldn't let me because they were at least 1 or 2 years older than me, so I just sat next to my mom who is pushing me to go play with them. I kept shaking my head no until she offered to buy me Mcdonald before we head home, I mean, who would reject a happy meal?

I went up to the kid that had nicely combed hair ''Hi I'm Brandon...umm..can I play with you guys?'' I asked in my 10 year old voice. The boy glanced at me and then stopped what he was doing. He called all his friends to come over to me. Just when I was getting hope that he was calling all his friends over to me to introduce me to each of them, instead he pushed me to the ground.

''Ha! And why would we let a wimp play with us?'' All of his friends started saying 'yeahs' and calling me 'wimp'. I looked at my mom and saw her talking with another woman and wasn't even paying attention if I was okay or not. I tried to get up but they would push me back down. I tried again for the fifth time and finally got up but was pushed to the ground again by the boy with nice.. I mean 'ugly shiny combed hair', but this time, instead of just pushing me down, he started kicking me and all his friends started doing to the same. I was about to scream for help when someone pushed them all onto the ground too. I thought it was an even bigger bully but she turned towards me and helped me up. She was probably the same age and grade like my dumb brother but smarter and hotter.

''Are you okay?'' She asked me with worry in her tone. I just nodded yes at her and she turned to look at the boys. Thats when every kids parents came and grabbed their children away from her. My mom was looking at her with fear in her eyes. I didn't know why but she was possibly thinking that the young lady that helped me was the one that hurt all of us. WRONG!

''Why did you guys kick him like he's not a human being huh?'' The lady asked all of the boys who were attacking me just seconds ago. Of course all of them would just mumble a 'I don't know'.

My mom asked me what happened. I told her everything while everyone else was listening too. After the little stupid ''story'' was done, all of the mothers/fathers scolded their children and that was it. No spanking. No being grounded. They all just said that ''Kids are Kids. They don't know anything.''  Fucking ass. Learned it from my big brother who constanly swears whenever he can't find anything.

 My mom and I was now in a hospital room with the lady...I don't know why she came with us but I could really care less because she is HOT!! My mom was staring at her weirdly and there was an awkward silence in the room so I decided to break it.

''So...what's your name?'' I asked her very shyly and I'm pretty sure that my face is red....how cool is that!

 ''Oh..um...My name is Alexandria but you can call me Andria. What's yours?'' She smiled sweetly at me. ''My name is Brandon" Andria nodded at me and then the doctor came in saying that I have a broken arm and a couple brusies but they should heal soon. My mother started to cry and I was thinking that she is probably blaming herself of how I am now. I move a little closer to her without moving my left arm to much and hugged her. She hugged me back and let me go when the nurse came in with my cast.

--few weeks later--

 ''Class, I would like you guys to write about what you are going to do over spring break!'' Mr.Collins said.

Ohh yeah...my family moved to a different place because my mom didn't want to see those kids again. So now here I am in my class sitting at a table alone, journaling about what we are doing over spring break. I still see Andria because she was constantly with Alex, my brother.  Andria also has a sister my age.

Evalene and I always play tag whenever me and Alex visit them or them visit us. They would always hang out in their rooms and Me and Eva would annoy them to let us join them.

''Hey lil bruhh!!'' Alex called out to me.

''Hi Alex! Are we going to Eva's house?'' He just nodded and then put his speakers on blast when Nikki Minaj Super Bass was playing. We got the stares.

A good 15 mins went by and we finally got to their house. I imeadiatly opened the car door and ran to the doorstep. I was just about to reach it when the door opened and Eva came running towards me smiling and putting her arms out. We both ran towards eachother and hugged like the world was about to fall apart.

''I missed you Brandon!'' she whispered in my ears. Just when I was about to reply back, there was a click and flash. I let go of Eva and looked around frantically trying to figure out what it was until Andria showed me a picture of me and Eva hugging.
