To get your story in this book, you have to fill out a registration page. I do not put in books that haven't registered. There are several reasons why I do this, which will be listed here. If you wish to have your story put here, don't be shy! Just fill out the form and send it to me and I'll put it up.
1: Mentioning people's work like that without their consent could be considered copyright infringement. Though I am citing them and helping them, if I wrote the forms, ultimately I would be doing a form of plagiarism. To avoid getting myself into trouble, I ask that people make their own registration forms.
2: I want to help those who are more active. If someone has one chapter up and hasn't been on wattpad for two billion years, what good would putting their story be? I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to take breaks or update slowly--for example, my book hasn't been updated in over a year--but I want to help the authors who want help.
3: By seeing how the person writes their form, the readers can see what kind of writer they are. If the writing looks good and interesting, they will usually be confident that they found a good writer. It helps the readers figure out what they're going to be reading before they look up the book. This can be a good or bad thing, admittedly, but it helps good writers really shine through.
4: I am a very busy human being. I can't often keep my attention on a book for long, let alone just to write a report. I can't go through the hundreds of books in my reading list to make new chapters.
5: No one knows the book like the author. I don't know where the book will be going. For all I know, it could be roses and butterflies one minute and by the next update it's zombies with killer breath and gore everywhere.
6: Some people get very angry when their work is misinterpreted. It's scary, even though they're hopefully many miles away. I would rather not deal with that possibility. I made this account to help people, not stir up arguments.
7: When an author writes their own form, they can include exactly what they want so they feel it's perfect for attracting new readers. Letting them decide what they put makes it more creative than if I did it for them.
I hope this helps clear some things up. Any non-fanfiction superhero/supervillain/sidekick/superhuman story is allowed to register! This book was put in place to help all of you, so don't hesitate to use it.
