Candidate

Blaine Tyrant, the candidate for Sage Blitz waved to the crowd, as they cheered. "Hello people of New York City!" Diamond and Gage cheered, "I don't know who she, is but she seems cool!" Diamond said dumbfounded, making Gage laugh.

    "She, is the Blaine Tyrant. Best swords-woman, and mage in the world. Rumors say, she's defeated one of the Kings of Geod." The younger tilted her head. "One... of the what?" He smiled, "A King of Geod is someone from another world, who's really strong! There's rumors saying they want to destroy our world~!" Gage spooked his baby sister as she pouted and crossed her arms, facing around direction. "Y-You're the worst! Aren't you supposed to protect your innocent, fragile, baby sister? Aka me, Diamond Athen, one and only." Diamond's exaggeration resulted to both siblings laughing, but soon stopped to hear the voice from the speakers, loud and clear.

The Candidate raised a fist in the air, signaling the enormous audience to quiet down. They did, and a rusty, old silver chained gate, appeared in front of her, at least ten feet away.

A timer hologram revealed itself, showing ten seconds on the clock. The cage slightly moved.

Everyone started to count down.

10... 9... 8...

No one else dared to break the countdown.

7... 6... 5... 4...

Blaine stared at the dark cage, that started to shake more and more as the timer ran close to zero.

3... 2... 1...

Silence rained over the crowd, as Gage and Diamond smiled like little children.

Begin.

The silver chains broke off as soon as they started, and the gate slowly pried up, to reveal illuminating blue orbs, and a yellow diamond like symbol in the middle. Black mist covered the floor of the arena, but never touched the young Candidate's feet. No one in the audience was applauding, or cheering, but whispered between themselves as they heard a snarl emitting from the cage. A beast, twenty times larger than a Rhinoceros slowly stalked towards Blaine, finally exposing its true looks. Gasps and murmurs floated around the arena, as the audience faced a creature with midnight black fur, grey tipped feathered wings flapped and stretched out once the whole body was out from the silver rusty box. It almost resembled a wolf, but with wings, and devil-like horns at its head. Swords, axes, and other weapons to stand out of its bare back.

Most of the people who watched looked away, cringing at the horrid sight of the strange beast. However, Gage knew what this was, unlike Diamond. "G-Gage... What-...What is...that thing?!" She questioned her brother. "....A creature fueled by our fears, and nightmares. Something that... that shouldn't even be able to see! That's a Specter Wolf." He was right. A Specter Wolf was a creature that could only be seen in a bad dream. How was it in reality?

The wolf roared, crawling around Blaine, waiting for the right moment to pounce on her.

She never moved.

This entire time, Blaine Tyrant, never showed any movement, but only looked straight. She did blink, sometimes to take a glance at the beast. A hearty laugh escaped through the purple haired swords-woman. "Well, I've never experienced a fight with a Specter Wolf! I guess there's a first for everything..."

It growled and finally pounced on her, about to eat her alive. Men and women, even children, were trying to cheer her on, but still somewhat scared of the beast in front of them.

Diamond watched, no expression whatsoever. "The rounds finished..." The elder one looked at her, completely confused by what she meant. "Look at her, calm and collected, while a giant wolf is literally charging at you... Her trump card is about to be put into play." Diamond stared blankly, she always did have a gift. To know some knowledge about future events that would play soon after the girl acknowledges it.

Soon after the mint-green haired teenager said her statement, Gage was about to speak up, but soon cut off by a light that brightened up the darkness and black mist in the whole arena. The beast stopped in front of Blaine's face, still growling and roaring at her, only to be cut off by a fist connecting to its face then fly forward meeting the wall of the arena. The audience of New York City gasped, surprised that she would just punch it in the face. As fast as a bullet, some sword pierced the Specter Wolf's chest making it howl in pain. A confident smirk danced on the Candidate's face, "Let's start the fight shall we? My audience, are you ready for the most memorable show of Sage Blitz?!" Her chocolate brown orbs sparked with excitement as she heard the crowd scream and cheer her on. People were chanting her name, giving her even more confidence. "Wait a minute... Brother! That's Excalibur! The sword she made was Excalibur!" (A/N: FOOL FOOL! I'm sorry I had to XD)Diamond's viridian colored eyes took in every detail of the sword that impaled the Wolf. The sword used by the one and only King Arthur, of Britain. It was supposed to be hidden away long ago, people had said that it was destroyed and the pieces buried in his tomb with him. Gage looked surprised, he turned to see the sword, before if was ripped out of the Specter Wolf and tossed away like garbage. She was right. It was Excalibur!

The sword disappeared, but only to reappear in Blaine's hand, as she calmly walked to the horrid beast. It's tail came around to pierce her body, however in a flash the tip of the extra limb was sliced off and it fell to the ground with a thump. One hand held the legendary sword as another had a bluish-purple magic circle rotating around the wrist. Angel wing-like symbols were making up the circle, and made the hand emit a blue flame. The Specter Wolf backed off, feeling the immense power that radiated off of Blaine's body. She had a devilish smirk which made the wolf start to whine like a scared little puppy.

Now it was the audiences turn to cheer loudly and the Specter Wolf was cornered, Blaine raised the hand with the magic circle around the wrist. Her index finger pointed to the symbol of its forehead, like it was a gun shooting its target. A small yet great amount of power built at the tip of the finger, as the beast began to tremble. She grinned.

"Sayonara."

Hello! (Sorry I never introduced this in the first part) This is my first story and my updates will be slow (essentially from school and laziness). Anyways this is the second part and I'll probably be working on the third soon to start off strong! That's it for now just wanted to get this out there first off all.
