2.Kindness shining through

Y/N pov

As we came up to a small house. Toriel came out and stood at the door. I was shown to a room, cuz it seems it was bedtime. And I was a bit tired. It must be like at least 7:pm or so. Toriel placed a plate with some sort of dark pie was placed in the middle of the room. Flowey was watching her from the bedside table. After she left. Flowey went back to sleep.

I woke up in the middle of the night and tried the pie. I was really hungry and the pie was nasty but it did fil me up. Bleh. Flowey made a bleh face. After that I placed the plate back on the floor and went back to bed.

After a couple of hours I slowly woke up, feeling slightly better. I didn't know what time it was, but decided to get up and take the plate into the kitchen. It was quiet almost to quiet. You saw Toriel sleeping in a big chair and reading a book, she looked peaceful. As I placed the plate in the sink. It made a little clink sound.

"Okay, I should go back to Flowey." I thought to myself. As I walked passed Toriel she woke up.

"Dear child what are you doing up at this hour"?

"I just brought my plate and put it in the kitchen and thank you for the pie." I smiled.

Toriel lifted an eyebrow. *sigh* Go back to your room.

You took two steps but wanted some answers, see if what Flowey said was true.

"Umm Toriel. Why so harsh. Flowey has explained to me a few things about you. But you don't look bad. I believe that you can be good. I want to help you". I continued to explain some more but at one point I must have said something that triggered her. Next thing I new was that I woke up back outside of Toriels house. Flowey was next to me and waving a leaf in my face.

"Y/n! Heeey what happened, did you die"? "Next time don't leave anywhere without me got it!"

*Skip through to when Y/n was back in the room and next morning.*

I didn't sleep that much. Is that what it feels like to die. A cold feeling and then everything turns black. But why was I back and why outside of Toriels house?? Flowey explained the part of saving and that I have a power called DETERMINATION.

*Skips through dialogue*

Instead of taking the plate back to the kitchen, you wanted to check out other rooms. You picked Flowey up and headed to the hallway. Only to be interrupted by faint laughter coming from downstairs, a basement maybe...

You both looked at each other. Flowey shook his head, but curiosity took over, so you tipp toed down the stairs. Whispers got a little bit louder, but you couldn't make out anything that was being said. You peeked around the corner to see Toriel facing a HUGE door. That must be our way out. You didn't wanna stay any longer, so you tipp toed back up the stairs and back into your room. How to get there without Toriel knowing might be a problem.

You stepped outside and touched the yellow star. And then slowly went downstairs towards the huge door. Toriel wasn't there, maybe in the kitchen.

At the huge door. I only touched it and a fire ball was shot and hit the door a feet from me. Toriel had more fire ready.

"Please you gotta let me go. You don't look evil. There is still good in you. Toriel?" I pleaded.

"Shut up brat. I let you in, I fed you, offered you a room. And this is how you repay me. By leaving. If you leave you will only be tortured. I can at least give you a quick death". Toriel knew what was best for you, but was now blinded with anger. I lost focus and looked at Flowey. He shrieked and pushed me aside and was hit with a fire ball.

Nooo Flowey!!!! And then I was engulfed in flames.

Everything went black. It didn't take long until my vision went from blurry to okay. Back outside Toriel's house.

I cried, but Flowey slithered up to my shoulder and hugged me.

"Sorry but we don't have time for that. I have a plan. Let's try again. I'll tell you when to doge. Just keep talking and focus." You gathered your strength and went back down the stairs and Toriel appeared again at the door.

*Skip dialogue*

I forgive you mom. I'll come back and visit or stay if you want me too. I approached with my arms out.

"What are you doing brat.?"

I hugged her and said "I forgive you" (again). She remembered something and accepted my hug and just cried. My soul and her soul was shining for a moment. Toriel allowed us to pass through the door and didn't say anything more. She must have been so overwhelmed.

Flowey and I looked at each other. Nodded and pushed the door open
