Chapter 10

Two months later...

Destiny's point of view

I got back with Liam, and I knew that everybody hated it, but I loved him and he loved me and our son, Jake. I wasn't going to be engage with him until I knew he could control his angry, so I was his girlfriend again until then. 

I heard my phone ringing, so I picked it up from the coffee table and answered it, "Hi, Liam."

"Hey, Des."

"Why are you calling me, Lili? I'm kinda busy with Jake and finishing with my writing for my book."

"How is the little guy? How is the story coming?"

"He's doing well. He's sitting up now. It's pretty good, it just need more drama. So, what's the reason you're calling me?"

"I was just wondering if you want to go on a date with me, Des."

"Well, I don't know."

"It will give you the chance to get out of the house without Jake and the time for us to talk over about our relationship."

"I guess I get Tawni to babysit Jake for me."

"Great! How about Friday?"

"Sorry, I can't on Friday."

"Why not, Des?"

"I have a class on Friday, and Tawni has a date that night. I really don't trust anybody with Jake."

"How about one of the guys babysit Jake for us."

"Don't they have lives that they probably want to live? And I don't want to bother them with the responsiblity."

"Des, they will be fine with taking care of their nephew on a Friday night. Please for me?"

I sighed in annoyance as I responded, "Fine, I hate when you say that in that voice!"

"You love it, and you know it." Liam chuckled as he said.

"Okay, I'll see you then, Lili."

"Wait!"

"What?"

"Can I see Jake on Thursday?" 

"I guess you can, Lili."

"I'll see you tomorrow, Des."

"Okay, Lili."

It was Thursday, and I was sitting on the couch and watching Jake playing with his toys. Then, I heard the doorbell rang, and I picked Jake up and walked over to the door. I opened the door and saw Liam with something behind his back.

"Hey, Lili."

"Hey, Des. Hey, Little Man." Liam cooed with Jake and then looked at me and smiled.

"Let, come in. Whatcha got there?"

"Something for you, Des and you, Little Man." Liam said and smiled as he handed Jake and me our presents.

"Well, thank you, Lili."

"So, what were you doing before I came, Des?" Liam asked as I placed Jake's and my presents on the table.

"Laundry and giving Jake a bath. Pretty much being a mother, and finish writing my book. And speaking of laundry, the alarm went off. I have to the load out of the washing machine." I said as I handed Jake to Liam and went to into the laundry room. I took out my first load of dirty clothes out of the washing machine and placed them in the dryer, and I put in my second load in the washing machine with some laundry detrignent.

"Hey, Des. So how are you?" Liam asked as I walked back into the living room.

"I'm tired, stressed, and annoyed, but pretty much in summary I've been well." I said as I put my hair in a ponytail and sat on the couch.

"The guys and I will help you with Jake as much as we can." Liam said as he sat down and smiled at me.

"Thank you." I said as I folded my legs under my bottom and looked at Liam, and I smiled back at him.

"Have you ever thought about having another baby?" Liam said as he looked at me with a sparkle in his chocolate brown eyes.

"Yeah, but not for a while." I said as I felt a wave of nausea hit me. I ran into the bathroom and placed my head in the toliet, and I started vomiting and felt hands taking my hair out of my face.

"Are you okay, Des?"

"I don't know, Liam. I haven't been feeling good since yesterday. Could you get my phone of the coffee table for me?" After I finish my sentence, I started puking again.

"Here you go, Des." Liam said as he came in the bathroom and gave me my phone. I went on the calender and check the last time that I had my period, and it was a week before I had sex with Liam. I felt my heart dropped into my stomach, and I felt myself shaking.

"Can I ask you a question?" I said nervously with my heart beating really fast that I thought it was about to burst out of my chest.

"What?"

"Did we use protection the last time we had sex?" I asked as I placed my head between my knees and rocked back and forth.

"Um..." Liam said as he thought quietly, and then he looked at me with a shocking expression on his face as he said, "No, why?"

"I think I need a pregnancy test." I said as I got off the floor and walked into the living room. I sat on the couch and played with my ponytail.

"How many pregnancy tests do you want, Des?" Liam said as he walked to the front door.

"Get four of them, please and thank you."

"You're welcome, Des." Liam smiled at me and walked out of the house as he said.

I sat on the couch and watching Jake sleeping in the baby swing, so I took him out and placed him on my laps. He snuggled up to me, and I smiled at his actions to being close to me, his mother. I smiled at the thought of me being pregnant again. The experence was great but a roller coaster.

Liam came back with for pregnancy tests, and I handed Jake to Liam and took the pregnancy tests to the bathroom. I did what had to do with the pregnancy tests.

Twenty minutes later, I checked the pregnancy test, and they all came out positive. I felt my heart beating with excitement and nervousness because I knew I was pregnant a second time, and Jake was only three months old. By the time baby number two is born, Jake will be one.

"Hey, Des! What do they say?" Liam said through the bathroom's door.

"I'm pregnant a second time." I said as I opened the door and walked into my bedroom, and I sat on the edge of my bed and stare at the wall.

"Are you okay, Des?"

"I'm fine, Liam."

"No, you're not, Destiny. You would stare at the wall more than thirty seconds when you're worry."

"Yeah, I'm worry! Two babies in one year! I can't do it! I'm gonna lose my mind! I do want another baby, but I wanted to wait until Jake was older at least!" After I finish my sentence, I felt my throat closing quickly and my heart beating really fast. Everything went black suddenly.
