I felt Sierra's body wrap around mine, her tears crashed against my skin.
"He's up there now." I whimpered out, hugging back. Gina tore Sierra off my body, while I watched Jake's eyes slowly close permanently. I squeezed my eyes, letting thousands of tears stream down my face. Cameron's warm arms opened towards me, motioning for me to nestle into them. Cameron sniffled at the site of his lifeless buddy. I dug my head into Cameron's chest.
"Jake, we love you..." Cameron cried out, shaking uncontrollably. I removed myself from Cameron's grip and kneeled down to Jake.
"Too soon, Buddy." I whispered, lightly kissing his nose. Gina sat down next to me and planted a kiss on my head like any mother would've done. I got up and jumped back into Cameron's grasp.
"I'm not ready." Cameron whispered, laying his head on mine.
"I know Cammie," I said.
