Izabell's P.O.V

Jalen makes me feel like we can be really good friends... But I have this feeling that I don't even know what to call it yet, maybe it'll just be an instinct or a misjudgment... I feel like he will betray me or turn out to E like my other friends. I hope he doesn't because he seems pretty awesome right now.

Jalen's P.O.V
Third period is pretty amazing and I already made my first real friend. She is pretty cool for a short shy girl that is. When she said she thought it was a cliche for us to talk and stuff, it kind of made me feel something, don't know what it is mayb....

*Izabell interrupts Jalen's thoughts*
CONVERSATION:
Izabell: You didn't hear a word Borma said huh?
Jalen: Not really I was thinking...
Izabell: Well he said he wants us to pair up...
Jalen: Us? As in You and I?
Izabell: Ha! Not exactly... You can chose whoever
Jalen: I only know you here, so do you want to be partners Iz?
Izabell: Okay under one condition.
Jalen: What's that?
Izabell; You have to promise not to fall in love with me.
Jalen: Really? A walk to remember?
Izabell: I'm just kidding! Lol sure we can be partners!
Jalen: Oh my gosh hahaha okay. I'm glad.
Izabell: But there is one condition...
Jalen: Yes?
Izabell: You have to tell me right now, what you were thinking so fondly about before I interrupted your thoughts.
Jalen: Oh, I was thinking about how you said it was a cliche for us being friends and all.
Izabell: What else?
Jalen: And I thought, maybe you could be right... But who cares, I like you so far, I just don't know I feel like I might get hurt in the end. Or you'll be like my old friends, snobbish as hell.
Izabell: In a way I'm offended, but I was feeling the same way, my friends treat me terribly and to be honest, when I heard there was going to be a new student I was waiting to see if it'd be a good thing. But when I saw you and how you looked, I just thought to myself that you would never be friends with me.
Jalen: Well look at us now, I mean you're the only friend I have as of now.
Izabell: That'll change, well let's get to our work for now and finish this conversation later.
Jalen: Who do you have for fourth period anyways?
Izabell: Downstairs, math, room 5618
Jalen: Really? Same here!
Izabell rolls her eyes and smiles
Izabell: Haha no way!

Both Jalen and Izabell finish their work and turn it in. They wait for the bell to ring, as time goes by... Jalen passes a note to Izabell...

Jalen: "Hey Iz?"
Iz: "Yes Jalen?"
Jalen: "Yanno you can call me anything else other than Jalen right?"
Izabell: "Is that what this is about?"
Jalen: "Lol no, but I wanted to tell you something."
Izabell: "Oh yeah? What's that?"
Jalen: "Thanks for being my partner, we'll be a great team!"
Izabell: "I'll hold you word to that"

As Izabell passes the paper, the bell rings and Jalen helps pack her things. They soon walk to fourth period.
