It's strange how someone so kind-hearted can be changed by one act of negativity, and become someone they feared to be.

The war that caused all chaos and bad blood between two kingdoms: The Dragelron War. Yamakia and Dragelron never got along to begin with. Dragelron was trying its best to keep the peace, but the pugnacious Yamakia's attacks were getting on Dragelron's last nerve. A legend was told that the Queen of Dragelron was kidnapped by a dragon and taken to the mountains in Eryll. The final blow that forced the Dragion military to declare war on Yamakia was an act of betrayal and greed.

"What makes you think we'll just let a Yamakian into our military at this time? I had to send out twenty of my men to support the police that were dealing with Yamakian terrorists in Nihato yesterday." a General spoke to a Yamakian-Dragion citizen, Colton Moreno. Colton shook his head and showed the General a small stack of papers, "Hear me out, sir. I've never committed a crime in my life. I always thought that the attacks other Yamakians planned out were foolish and senseless."

The General perked up an eyebrow, then he tossed a rifle to Colton. "Don't just stand there, show me what you can do, soldier! Get down to the training facility; it's fifty feet north of here!"

"Ah... Sir, yes, sir!" Colton gave a salute as he dashed to the training facility. Within the facility were target dummies. He repeated positive thoughts in his head, then fired at ten dummies. The General observed him carefully, and nodded, "Most impressive... for a newcomer."

After several more training tests, Colton became sweaty and exhausted. The General left for a few minutes, and came back with a small stack of application papers and a uniform. The young man felt pleasantly surprised. "You'll allow me to join?"

"Yes. I sensed a feeling of trust, determination, and nobleness. Surely, you may be a pleasure to work with, Moreno. I now see that it's true what they'd always say: 'Not everyone is the same'," the General asserted with a slightly kinder tone. Colton raised his head up high in pride and relief, excited to begin his new job.

"You have been assigned to work under the command of Colonel Ludwig Jordan and Lieutenant Colonel Saundra Jordan. Ah, they must be related, or maybe the surname is common?" Colton thought out loud to himself as he strolled around the hangar. He noticed someone standing in front of a different facility. I should probably ask for directions...

"Good day, sir. Do you know where Colonel Jordan and Lieutenant Colonel Jordan might be?"

The older man nodded and pointed to the facility doors behind him, where Colton heard two voices. One is masculine with a German accent, the other is feminine with a Scottish accent. He opened the door, only to then receive all eyes on him. That makes Colton become a bit nervous, until he obtained a smile from both of the Colonels. The German man, who he assumed to be Colonel Ludwig Jordan, walked over to him and broke the silence. "Hallo, there! Is there something you need, my friend? Oh, wait! You must be Herr Moreno, ja?"

I shouldn't have stopped taking German...

"Uh... yeah, that's me. Colton Moreno. You two are Colonel Ludwig Jordan and Lieutenant Colonel Saundra Jordan, right?" To that response, Ludwig and Saundra nodded. Upon seeing that Colton is in uniform, Saundra gestured him over. "Get to your position, front and center!"
