What are Protectors?:
The Protectors is a group of magical beings (fairies, elves, etc) including humans who posses powers or unimaginable abilities. They protect the whole continent known as Oerin. At each ten full moons, the leader of the Protectors will receive a sign that will tell him who will be the new Protector to fight the evil who resides in the continent. The Protectors are separated into four groups, each new Protector will be chosen a group from his abilities.
Warrior, Hunter, Magic or Ryuu (dragon) rider.
All the members of that group will have to challenge the new Protector to make him or her worthy enough to prove he was a good choice. It's been like that for centuries and that's the only reason why Zestuka City and the villages besides it had not been destroyed yet. Because the Protectors protected it.
