"Who are you?" Cal yells quite loud at our mysterious old stranger. My body behind Cals cowering in case he is a southern rebel. Wouldn't suprise me at all knowing my luck with these things.

The man suddenly jumps towards us and almost as a reflex I felt one of Cals arm go behind him to hold me and protect me. I grabbed his arm in a flinch too, worried this man was faking his weak act.

"Don't come any closer." Cal said sounding not scared unlike me, the man started slowing walking towards us.

The man suddenly stopped and didn't move, my grip on Cals arm loosened but not enough to let go.

"AHH!" The man said running towards us. Me and Cal both screamed while I backed away. As I was getting ready to bolt out of the room Cal behind me, guarding me, the man stopped dead in his tracks and bursted out laughing.

"I love doing that too people." He cackled.

"Huh?" I questioned.

"You were scared out of your minds!" He continued practically falling over from cry laughing.

"We thought you were going to kill us," I state surprised he can even hear me.

"Oh no, Never."

"Are you a rebel?" I blurt out before I can think about what else to say.

"No those people are crazy," He says with no hestitation. No buddy I think you're the crazy one.

"Well who are you then?" I meekly asked again, Cal to astonished to speak.

"Alem, some say I'm crazy but that's probably because I am." He smirks, his voice sounds crazy and old in general since we're being honest.

"Why are you here?" Says a voice interuppting my thoughts, Cal. His voice sounds frustrated and slightly angry. He walks up to me moving his hand to mine and squeezing it before moving his arm to be around my waist.

"Why are you here?" He questions with another creepy smile.

"I asked first." Cal challenges him, this is not going to go well, I can already tell.

"Well yeah but, did you know mountains can talk?" A squeak of a laugh comes out of my mouth before I can catch myself and Cal looks even more frustrated.

"Let me ask again, Why are you here? This is Castle property." He states firmly.

"There is food, there is a bed, and there is a roof." Alem says, Cal opens his mouth to speak but Alem continues. "And sometimes I get visitors, who I love talking too." His eyes go to somewhere else as he fantisizes I guess of his good times with the visitors.

"Other people come here?" Cal questions again, I'm still too confused to speak.

"Oh no no, You two are the first human beings I have seen in years." He answers, what visitors is he talking about then?

"What visitors?" I ask before Cal can, too interested into the conversation.

"The squirrells of course." His grin growing brighter by the second.

"Cal," I move to his ear, "Can we get out of here this guys giving me the creeps." His other hand goes to mine to squeeze it but he doesn't let go like he did last time.
