BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-*crunch*

I groan slamming my fist in my alarm clock. I roll over to, barely see, my newly crushed alarm clock blink 5:00.

"Wha...why so early...." I say rolling back over to go back to sleep. But that didn't last very long because someone decided to destroy my slumber.

My bedroom door opened so fast that if my backpack wasn't hanging on it, it would have made a dent in my wall. "GET UP. GET UP!" Willow comes running into my room then jumping onto my bed.

I groan. "Leave me alone...." I say trying to sleep. Why won't she just let me sleep?

"No! I'm doing your hair for your first day on the job at SEA in about an hour and half! So get your lazy ass up and get dressed so I can do your hair! Go go go!" Willow says pulling my covers off of a shocked me. I jump out of bed and run to my closet.

"I totally forgot about my new job! Ugh, what to wear, what to wear..." I trail off searching for something to wear. I reach for my ripped blue jean shorts and a tank top that has tears in the back. I run out of my closet then run to my bathroom to brush my hair and teeth.

"I hope you do notice that the tank top that you pulled out basically doesn't have a back. Only shoulders, a front, and sides." Willow tells me. I spit out my toothpaste and rinse my mouth out.

I walk out to grab my tank that she was holding. "I do know that. I'm going to be wearing a bathing suit underneath." I say running to grab my favorite bathing suit from my drawer. At the top. "If you remember, Dr. Wilson wants to see how long I can hold my breath. Plus he said I would start my job right away," I tell Willow as I put on my bathing suit then start putting on my jeans and tank. "And since I don't know what that is then I want to be prepared." I walk to get my vans.

"Oh, right, I forgot that part." Willow replies smiling sheepishly. "I'm going to get the hair ties and brush ready." She says walking to my bathroom.

"Ok." I reply tying my shoes. I walk to my vanity and grab my waterproof mascara, since that's basically the only thing I can wear and get wet. I start applying it to my face just as Willow walks out with two hair ties and my round brush.

"Alright," Willow says patting the chair at my desk. "Sit." I oblige and sit down while she works her magic on my hair.

About 8 minutes later she finishes. I stand up and turn to look at my wall mirror. I see that she two dutch braids to my strawberry-blonde hair. I turn to Willow while grabbing my messenger bag and shoving my flip-flops, ray bands, sunscreen, and my phone into it. "Thanks Willow. It looks great!" She nods her head as we head downstairs to the kitchen.

I quickly walk to the fruit basket next to the fridge and grab two apples. I turn to Willow and toss her one of the apples. "Thanks." She says as she grabs her cars keys and heads outside. I follow in suite.

Willow pulls up to the front of the building. My new job. Hopefully.

I quickly gather my things and unbuckle my seatbelt. I open my door stepping out. I turn to Willow. "Wish me luck. Oh and thanks for the ride." I say smiling. She gives me a thumbs up and tells me good luck.

I walk to the entrance starting to feel nervous. It's ok. You got this.

I push open the doors and step inside. I see a lot more people walking around the area than the last time I was here. I wonder why he needed more workers? Seems like there's already a lot.

I walk around trying to find my way to the pools. I don't see or find any signs, which they need, so I give myself two options. Option number one; walk up to one of the other workers and ask where to go. Or option number two; go straight to Mr. Wilson's office again and try to catch him before he leaves for the pools without me.

I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't see someone run into me.

"Oof!" I groan. I fall on my back quickly followed by a body falling on my stomach. "Ow!" I squeeze my eyes shut. Well...that hurt...a bunch...

The body scrambles to get off of me and let's me finally be able to see who got the more softer landing than I did. I quickly shake my head to get rid of the dizziness and look up. I look up to see a hand I front of my face. I firmly grab the hand offered and pull myself up with the help of the body.

When I look up I come face to face with a boy, around my age, with dirty brown hair and piercing grey eyes. I take a step back to get a better look at who fell on me. He's not bad looking. I look to see he's in a bathing suit also. Well, more like just the swimming trunks alone.

I feel heat rise up to my face. "I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking at where I was going and I'm new an-"

"Hey. It's ok, don't worry about it. Plus I should be the one apologizing." He says cutting me off. "You said you're new, right?" I nod my head. "Maybe I can help you. Where are you trying to go to?" He tilts his head the slightest bit making one of hairs fall over his eyes.

"Um, well I was trying to find the pools to take a test-" I get cut off again.

"The pools? Hey, that's where I'm headin. I guess I should have guessed since I could see your bathing suit." He says scratching his neck. "Anyway, I'll take you to the pools. Just follow me." He says smirking.

"Thanks. By the way, what's your name?" I ask. Because what I know you as is the body. I don't think I want to say that out loud...the body...I mean...he does have abs and a sculpted body, but... I feel the blush rising back to my cheeks. Why am I thinking like this!? This is not a cliché movie!

"It's Aiden, Aiden Flinn. You?" Aiden says snapping me out of my thoughts.

"It's Ashley Jameson." I reply. "What's your job here? Other than helping poor lost souls like me that is." I say teasing.

He chuckles softly, which I find completely attractive. "I'm a forensic scientist. I'm also an assistant to anybody who needs help training marine life, or needs help bringing them back to health. So basically I'm kind of a marine biologist." He states matter-of-factly.

"Wow. Those both sound really fun." I say as we turn down yet another corridor. "Especially the second one. I've always loved marine life. It always seems to fascinate me." I say.

He turns his head to glance at me. "Really? Same." He says shrugging slightly. "Back to you. What's your job? Or do you not have one yet?"

It's my turn to chuckle. "Yeah. I don't know yet. That's why your taking me to the pools. To find out what my new future job is." I smile when I see the two pairs of doors that say 'pools'. "I really want to be a marine biologist though."

Aiden stops suddenly. I stop also. I give him a confused face saying 'why did you stop'. I wait there a few more minutes when realization dawns on his face. I just stand there awkwardly still very confused.

He points at me. "I was sent down to the front doors to find this new girl who Dr. Wilson was testing." Oh.

I laugh awkwardly. "So that's why you were down by the front doors." He nods his head.

"Well, come on." He motions towards the doors. I walk ahead and pull to doors open to have saltwater and freshwater fill my nose. I smile. I take in a deep breath and let it out slowly as Aiden walks by grinning at me. I notice he walks towards none other than Dr. Wilson himself.

I slowly walk towards them while taking in the amazing view of the room. The room was this huge open area filled with large pools, and the walls were mostly filled with big windows that let in the warmth of the sun. The view from the big windows is amazing. It looks out onto the big blue ocean.

I finally reach Dr. Wilson and Aiden along with one other girl and boy that I don't know.

"Dr. Wilson." I say getting everyone's attention. "I'm ready. I'm ready to take my test."
