Maya POV

I heard a knock at the door and went to open it.

I saw two man and a woman but my eyes instantly went to one person

Jinyoung....?

There I saw Megan, JaeBum and Jinyoung at door.

I didn't know what to do.

"Maya" Megan said and ran forward and hug me.

"I missed you" she said

I could feel my eyes tearing up but I held it in. I didn't want to seem weak to them

"I missed you too"

She broke the hug.

"Babe... are you okay?" JaeBum asked

I smiled
"I'm fine"

I let them in, but I was still confused how did they get here.

"How did you guys get here?" I asked

"The school told us where you live." Megan said

It was awkward silence

All I could think of why there were here.

"Look, we know about your Mum that's why we came here." Megan said

"Yeah we wanted to see, how you were doing" JaeBum said

"I'm fine." I said

Why did they get told?

I'm fine!

I don't need anyone's help!

Jinyoung POV

We knocked at door

I was so nervous because I wanted her to answer the door

But the door open

She seemed shocked to see us at her door.

Megan ran forward to hug. When I saw Maya's face when she hugged her I could see she was holding in tears.

It's not fair I wanted to hug her too...

She invited us in her apartment

"Look, we know about your Mum that's why we came here." Megan said

"Yeah we wanted to see, how you were doing." JaeBum said

"I'm fine." She answered

I looked at her, she wasn't fine she was dying inside.

Although she was smiling

I could see the hurt in her eyes

She didn't want people's pity

She didn't want question like
"Are you okay?"
"It must be hard for you"
"Oh I'm so sorry."

Because they mean nothing to her

She wants a hug or someone to just that it will be okay.

It was just awkward silence..

"Why don't Me and JaeBum go out and get some food for all of us?" Megan said

"Yeah I would like that." Maya said

"Okay let's go, I'll drive ." JaeBum said

Then they both left and as they left Maya walked to her balcony.

I decided to follow her

She sighed

It was silent but I wanted to say something to her. To let her know that I was here for her.

"May-"

"Before you say anything I don't want pity. I don't need pity from people who don't even get what it feels like! I don't need pity from people who aren't hurting!"
She shouted

I turned to her

"Maya...
I lost my sister when I was 10" I said

"And I was going to say that I'm here for you. And that whatever you tell me I would kept a secret" I said

She didn't say anything, so I turned to see her

Crying...

So I hugged her

She cried and cried.

I rubbed her back

I took her into her living room and sat her down.

After she stopped crying and took a moment to breathe...

She told me everything

About Her Dad, the Abuse, her siblings and how he killed her mother.

I felt upset for her but also annoyed that a man could think that he could treat someone so special like that.

"Sorry. You probably didn't want to hear that" she said

"No!"

"I'm always here for you when you need someone to talk too"

I grabbed her hand and look her in the eye
