"All rise for the Honorable Judge Thompson." The court officer announced. I rolled my eyes as I propped my foot up on the table. If he thinks that I am going to stand up for that old hag, he has another thing coming. I rolled my eyes, as I tried to fulfill my flappy bird goal of one-hundred.
"Mmmh," somebody cleared their throats. Geez, somebody needs a cough drop.
It was dead quiet, the only sound you could here from the courtroom was my game.I shrug not having the audacity to fill awkward."Excuse me."They interrupted again, sounding more annoyed. "I said excuse me!" they yelled.
"You're excused," I said distracted.
Come on baby! Almost there sweet cheeks.

As I was going to one hundred my phone was snatched out of my hand.
"What in the world?" I looked up to see the officer towering over me. "What the fuck was that for? I was almost to one hundred then you snatched my phone from my hand! Do you know how long it took me too get to fucking one hundred without dying?" I ranted.
"Miss Rain, please refrain from from profanity. If you weren't so immersed with your phone, you would have realized that everybody else is standing except you." Judge Thompson said.
I narrow my eyes."Well I don't see you standing,"
"Well, I am the judge," she said, thrumming her fingers.
"Oh my gosh," I put my hands to my chest as I mock her. "I am so sorry your highness, how will you ever forgive me?" I bow as the sarcasm drips from my voice.
She gives me a scathing look, "Well, let's get started shall we? Miss Rain I see that you are convicted of a battery assault, which includes: attempted vandalizing, threatening, and physical violence?" The bitch of a judge says. I rolled my eyes, I don't know who this lady think she is taking my phone, she don't pay the damn bill.
"Hold up," I put my hand up, effectively cutting her off," Let's get something straight. First of all, I didn't attempt any of those things, I did them. Secondly, I don't carry out empty threats, f^ck, I don't even threaten anyone; it's simply a statement of action." I lean back in my chair satisfied with my answer. There's no point of lying to the damn trick, I might as well be truthful.
"Miss Rain, I will not tell you again to stop inappropriate language. If I have to address this problem again I will have you charged with contempt of court." judge whats-her-name says..
"Yea, yea. I guess I'll stop, but, you do know old habits die hard. So how can you blame me for doing something out of habit? O 'honorable' honor?" I say sarcastically with a smirk on my face.
"Nor will I tolerate your disrespect." she says as sher narrows her eyes.I sigh. "Alright, I understand." I say dejectedly. "Can we just get this da- this case one the road your honor. Please?" I suck up my pride, biting back my retort!
"Anyway," she continued."Under normal circumstances, you would be fined between three hundred fifty to six hundred dollars with battery of assault.
Six hundred? You can bet my black a$s I'm not paying that.
"Yet, given you are a warden of the state, and that you are susceptible to stuff such as these"she leaned back and sighed," we are able to reconsider your punishment. "
How in the hell is that, any better?
"But, you are to be in a juvenile program due to the extent of the violent action taken, which gives you the potential of going to juvenile detention"
I have to go to ju-ju just because I broke a few bones? Well, to be honest, I did break several ribs, his leg, his fingers, and his left arm, and maybe his wrists. But that doesn't mean they have to take me to freakin' juvie!
"But, I have reconsidered, and thought it would be best to relocate you to an area with a more positive environment." I bared my teeth in contempt."In addition, you will be required to do 100 hours of community service along with your juvenile program." She added as an afterthought.
"I'll take take juvie for five hundred." I said as I raised my hand while smiling from ear to ear. She looked at me like I lost it, which I probably did, but I'll be damned if I have to have another foster parent. It was bad enough that I was at this horrible group home.
"Let me rephrase this." The judge says as she leans forward, giving me a fake smile. "You get to go with your new foster parents or you get to go with your new foster parents?" she said with fake enthusiasm.
"You said I had a choice." I respond lowly.
"I'm helping you make the right choice." She says in a solemn tone.
"But, why do I have to go with them, this is so unfair, I-"I start before I am rudely cut off.
"Your Honor, I don't think that it is fair for her to only be taken to another foster parent with a light sentence of community service. She did put my client in a hospital for a week, and disabled him for at least another eight weeks." Tarry Maze's lawyer said.
"My client claims self defense under the terms that she was bullied, and feared for her life due to racial prejudice she experienced." My lawyer stated. I scoffed. It took you this long to chime in? I rolled my eyes. Well you get what you pay for.Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. He only threatened me, called me a nigg3r, and made a bunch of Nazi jok- O.K. who am I kidding. It's that bad, but all it took was a couple of broken bones. I wasn't the one who went to the police like a little bitch.
My lawyer gave the evidence of Maze Runner's information and all the stuff he has done and said to the court officer who, in turn, gave it to the judge. After taking a minute to review, she glanced up with a passive face, but the look of shock could easily be seen in her eyes.
"After reading this report, I can see why you did that, but that doesn't mean you aren't going to get off of punishment Miss Rain. For Mr.Maze however,he has a possibility for going to a juvenile correctional facility for around a year or so.." Judge Thompson said.
I internally rolled my eyes. We all know that that dude is going to get about three to six months tops. Even after he did all the stuff he did.White people...The judge slammed her hammer down, "Court dismissed."
