Matt's POV
Me and Mallory were about to get engaged, but a week earlier, she said we needed to take a break. Was she scared that we weren't supposed to be together? Did someone talk her out of dating me? I needed to know the answer. I called Whitney and asked if anything was different about Mallory. Whitney told me nothing was different about her and she was just fine. I was so relieved, Mal was happy. Just as her smile always was. Sunshiny and bright; just like it will be and always is.
Mallory's POV
Don't get me wrong. I love Matt, but I was scared that when we were engaged, I might not feel the same way about him. He'd be spending more time with me and I might find flaws in him. I couldn't do that. I still try to stay happy in front of Whitney and the cast, but inside, I loved Matt and wanted to be with him.
Whitney's POV
A few hours earlier, Matt called me and asked if Mallory was acting or feeling any different than she always was. Well, she wasn't, but I wonder if inside, maybe she was. I'll find out more.
